2010 NFL Draft: Strong safeties

1. Darrell Stuckey | 6'1, 205 pounds | Kansas
Stuckey may not pop off the screen watching the Jayhawks, but he consistently makes plays. Last season, he finished with 98 tackles, five interceptions and seven pass breakups. He's won awards for his character and his weight room work.
2. Justin Woodall | 6'2, 220 pounds | Alabama
In his first season as a starter, Woodall broke out last season, finishing with 47 tackles and four interceptions. He is a great combination of size and speed.
3. Barry Church | 6'2, 219 pounds | Toledo
In each of his three years as a starter, Chuch has been named to the Mid-American Conference first team. Although teams avoided him more in 2008, Church still finished with 93 tackles and three forced fumbles. He's sound against the run and the pass.
4. Myron Rolle | 6'2, 218 pounds | Florida State
If Rolle didn't leave to go study at Oxford, he would be the clear cut No. 1 senior strong safety in the country. A third-team All American in 2008, Rolle has the physical tools to become a solid starter at the next level.
5. Kurt Coleman | 5'11, 188 pounds | Ohio State
What Coleman may lack in size, he makes up for in strength and determination. Heading into his third year as Ohio State's starting strong safety, Coleman was third on the team with 78 tackles last year. He also plays special teams.
6. Bo McNally | 6'0, 208 pounds | Stanford
McNally has led the Stanford defense in tackles the last two seasons. While he's not the best athlete, McNally is a tough and aggressive player who gets after the ball. He consistently makes plays for the Cardinal and is known to have a good work ethic.
JUNIORS:
1. Eric Berry | 5'11, 203 pounds | Tennessee
The comparisons between Berry and Ed Reed of the Baltimore Ravens are apt. Berry is the definition of a ballhawking safety. He has 12 career interceptions and has improved a tackler. A lock as a first-round pick if he comes out.
2. Morgan Burnett | 6'1, 210 pounds | Georgia Tech
Burnett can do just about anything for a defense. He's big and strong and can be counted on to stop the run. He also has great ball skills, finishing 2008 with seven interceptions.
3. Chad Jones | 6'3, 214 pounds | LSU
The skill set Jones possesses is hard to ignore. he's clearly big and physical, but he's fluid enough to cover passes. He saw time last year as LSU's nickel back and should be the full-time starter at strong safety this year.
4. Reshad Jones | 6'2, 212 pounds | LSU
Jones burst onto the national scene in his first year as a starter for the Bulldogs. He's a fluid athlete with the ability to make plays all over the field.
