.......

Each player is given a grade for the week based on his play and his ability to adapt to the coaching, new terminology, ability to rise to the level of the competition and the added pressure of performing in front of NFL scouting personnel. Keep in mind that these snapshots are based strictly on this week’s practices, versus the competition available and not on the player’s past performances. Here are the grades:

A - Good week of practice; player played fast and showed playmaking ability

B - Above average; player had some noticeable plays and miscues

C - Average; player didn’t really stand out in a good or bad way

D - Below Average; player physically struggled with the level of competition

I - Not enough information

EAST

Jersey Player Pos School Ht Wt Arm Hand Grade

1 Terrance Turner WR Indiana 6016 220 33 ½ 9 ¾ C

Terrance has very good size but is not a quick twitched athlete. He is an average route runner that can not sink his hips to get in and out of his cuts. He has good but inconsistent hands. A big target in the red zone but has trouble with press coverage.

2 David Sims SS Iowa State 5093 208 31 8 ½ C

David is a short, stocky player that looks the part and has good foot quickness. He is stiff in the hips and lacks COD quickness. He is more of a straightline athlete. He stops his feet to make contact with receivers and had trouble with his footing.

3 Jonathan Nelson SS Oklahoma 5107 197 30 ½ 10 C

Jonathan has adequate size for SS and plays with a good effort. He gets on his toes on his plant and drive and had some balance issues when transitioning. Did not put himself in position to make plays on the ball. Competitive in the red zone when pressing receivers.
