Instead what we have is a more jumbled group of very solid prospects with no clear-cut No. 1 player at this point. The class looks relatively deep, with about 20 to 25 players who are a worthy of a draft selection. But it won’t be until the postseason evaluations and workouts when we’ll finally be able to figure out who the top tackles really are.

With good agility and footwork for his size and great run-blocking skills, Sherrod has basically everything you would look for in a complete offensive tackle prospect. While he may not be elite, he’s shown he has what it takes to be a solid starting tackle in the NFL

Sherrod looks like the only tackle prospect worthy of first-round selection at this time, but that could change depending on how many teams end up looking for a starting tackle early on in the 2011 NFL Draft.

mentioned are

Wisconsin’s Gabe Carimi
Boston College’s Anthony Castonzo
Marcus Cannon of TCU
DeMarcus Love of Arkansas
LSU’s Joseph Barksdale
Colorado’s Nate Solder
Alabama’s James Carpenter
Pittsburgh’s Jason Pinkson
Indiana’s James Brewer
Auburn’s Lee Ziemba
Arizona’s Adam Grant
Florida’s Marcus Gilbert
Clemson’s Chris Hairston
Michigan State’s D.J. Young
a good article on OT's

The Cowboys are going to have a top 5 selection. We may even get the top pick. There is not a Offensive Lineman worthy of that value. Doug Free is going to want LT money. He has been the only bright spot on the line. You don't draft a RT high. I think we can find someone in round 2 to man the right spot. I like Patrick Peterson or Prince to replace Newman in next few years. Newman can move inside to cover the slot reciever. I would also suggest the DL.

nobody evens mentiond that there is a top top 5 or even a LT

I could see us drafting Carimi in the second rd an playing him at RT

then we also have back up LT

Carimi has went up against some of the best pass rushers in the Big Ten the last few weeks and has been impressive on the left side. He may be good enough to play LTay athe next level. Carimi and Moffitt makes a great combo on the left side. Both are big and seem to have a mean streak which I really like.
