2011 Schedule

I don't know how this home/away splits work, but we got screwed. Another year starting out on the road. Out of the AFC East we get the two toughest teams on the road. The likely two toughest NFC East rivals at the end, being on the road the last week. At least we don't play the Eagles last again.

Brutal last 4 games of the season.

Not to shoot you down, but I don't think it's that bad. Not compared to some we've had in recent years. Yeah, it's not easy, but I wouldn't say brutal. I'm not gonna complain about playing at Tampa in December. And besides, who knows how each of those teams will be playing in December. Except for 2007, NYG has been notorious for fading down the stretch.

That's what I meant..I got em mixed up..

Just looked it up. It was 2004. Lost at Baltimore and beat Chicago on Thanksgiving.

Just looked at your post and the schedule again and noticed this part.

When's the last time we played on the road before thanksgiving?

They're trying to take the Thanksgiving advantage away from us.

If you count the last 2 preseason game Dallas has 4 straight games on the road.

Agreed, I'm glad we play divisional games in the end b/c that usually means if we are competitive, our destiny is in our hands if we play our division and conference opponents.

I got 12-4. I don't think TB was great last year. Good but nothing to say they should be feared for this upcoming season.

Tampa is getting better every year. I expect them to be better than last year.

With all the ifs that go into a season, I like the schedule.

Now just get the CBA worked out and lets get back to the pads.

Yeah. I posted that earlier in the thread. It's stupid.

We only have 1 cold weather game. Our Dec schedule could have been worse. I do not like opening at opposite sides of the country wk 1 and wk 2. And do not like playing on the road before and after Thanksgiving. But other than that I like the schedule.

Never seen a Cowboys schedule released that I loved, but this comes close.

Always like opening on the road becasue of the extra time you get to prerpare for week one. Might as well be on the road. However I do prefer that road opener be aginst a weaker club. The jets will be tough, but WTH, at least we'll know where we are real quick.

No problem with the 1st two on the road or the trip out to SF for the 2nd one. SF sucks and we'll kick there ***. If we have to get back to back road games at least once, this is a good spot to have it early and against a dog for the 2nd game.

Don't like the week 5 bye, but it beats week 3 or 4.

Getting what may be our toughest road game after that bye is a break.

Love all the primetime games. We've done well in Philly in primetime.

Like that at NYG week 17 is our only cold weather game.

Seahawks to Cardinals is a nice 5 game stretch to pad the record an build momentum for the stretch run.

Love the late warm weather trips to Arizona and TB.

No problem with the Giants twice in three weeks.

Overall, a real good schedule.

Missed that and to the best of my knowledge, we've never had to do it before.

12-4, NFC East Champs, #2 seed in the NFC.

We get revenge at the Bucs in the NFC Championship.

Our stupid loss against the Lions will have the Chicken Littles out in droves for the bye week, but our nail biter win against NE will cement that we're a real team. Thanksgiving is spoiled again by the Dolphins on a bonehead play, but it's a good premonition considering where we went last time that happened.

I immediately hate the bye. Why another early bye week?

On the road the last two games of preseason, then on the road for the first two regular season games. Four weeks on the road. Hate that.

Miami again on Thanksgiving. Again. Bleh. I wanted Buffalo. Especially with their new uniforms and/or throwbacks.

And another season opener on the road. What gives?

Bills got new uni's? Since when? I knew they had those awful throwbacks. But new ones?

I know it's early

but seriously guys one of the things I kept thinking last year was like man, the schedule next year is going to be very favorable at this rate.

I don't think it gets any better than this, considering last year we played Green Bay, Saints, Vikings, Colts, and then the NFC East on top of that... this year looks like 10- 6 minimum.

Now can this team win the tough games and avoid the penalties I don't know... they should since Wade is gone, and that was big on what cost us during the 1-7 slide last year. But man we have been set up with this schedule to do some rather nice damage this year if we can just take care of our business.

Yeah. They announced that they're going to have new uniforms, but they haven't revealed them yet. Can't be worse than what they have now. I hope it's something similar to their old early 90s ones or their current throwbacks.
