2011 Schedule

If you compare the SNF schedule to ESPN's Monday Night Football...it is a flat out trash pile.

ESPN getting what they deserve I love it.

Why do they deserve it?

For biased and irresponsible reporting and a horrible mnf crew.

Gruden is the only thing that makes the games even watchable on MNF. Seriously, if he was not on their I would either not watch or just mute the volume.

I think a clan of brain dead monkeys could throw together a schedule better than this.

:laugh2:

Tell us how you really feel Hoof!

The Cowboys finish third in the NFC east; yet, we have the toughest schedule of the NFC East teams and we travel way more than any other team in the east?
(numbers according to NFL..com)

Quick glance..I like it..

Don't like bye week in week 5 but other than that..not bad
I don't like open on the road and close on the road or the early bye.

start at the meadowlands . end at the meadowlands

i hate that we play the giants twice 3 weeks apart . wish they would spread out all the games within the divsion . every year this happens last year it was the eagles sucks .

We also played the Giants twice in four weeks last year. Romo got hurt, bad games against Jags and Packers, then off to the meadowlands to face the giants again.

Dallas Cowboys are coming to Tampa... WooHoo! :D

I know!! And this time it isn't the first game of the season! I went a couple of years ago and about sweat to death out there. Of course, it was an awesome game.

Just thought of something. The NFL wasted no time having Rex Ryan vs Rob Ryan. Seems they should have scheduled it the 2nd half of the season for a better chance of the game happening.

They didn't schedule Rob Ryan vs Rex Ryan. We play the AFC East this year, it goes in rotation. The only games that are determined outside of a rotation are the games against the Lions and Buccaneers because they finished 3rd in their division like we did.

probably answered my own question. When we play the Giants and Eagles twice and they finished ahead of us, you would have the harder schedule even if you do play two third place teams(Lions and Bucs)

LOL...I know how the schedule works. They still scheduled the Jets week 1 which is the point. The match up will receive a lot of hype and seems the schedule makers would have wanted it later in the year due to the lockout.

Each team travels 8 times a year. A few more if you're lucky to play in the postseason.

Not unless the schedule makers know something we don't! ;)

Quick! To the blogosphere to attempt to report this as real news!

I like it a lot. The hype will be tremendous. Rex needs a head coach job to catch up with his brother. What an audition. The defense will be ready to play!

so we start with two road games and end with a road game. How is that even fair.

From 1960 through 1966 our first 2 games of every season were at home. How is that fair?

Football isn't about being fair. It never has been. They don't create schedules thinking of screwing one team. They create them to try and make a compelling season.

In 1971, our first Super Bowl win, the first 2 games were on the road. In 1974 we had 2 road games and finished with 1 on the road. Did it again in 1983 and the very next year, 1984.
