Who do you think will be our starting WR's this year? We all know who it SHOULD be....but will Garrett actually do what he should and start who deserves to start, or will we see more of roy starting while dez sits on the bench?

Miles Austin

Roy and Dez will split, depending on Dez's knowledge of the playbook & thats exactly what should happen.

dude, what will you do when dez takes over the #1 role????
He is already a better pass catcher & explosive play maker. When he learns the intricacies of route running he will be a clear #1.

Your bias against dez is sad.

Just ignore him. Somone took his binky and he was not ready.

For him it's more important Miles does well to keep his ego pumped then how the Cowboys do as a team.

If Garrett is going to pan out as HC he'll play his best players at every position. If Dez stays healthy he'll be starting along side Austin with Roy as the 3rd receiver.

In 12 games last season Dez had more yards, TD's and receptions than RW had in 15 games. Dez is clearly the better receiver and I expect him barring injury to be starting.

Dez and RW. Miles Austin is relegated until he stops falling down, tipping the ball to the other team and running before the catch. :p:

Miles might be splitting time if he has another so-so year like he had last season. He better start concentrating on holding on to the ball a little better.

Garrett will go with - Miles, Dez, Roy, Terry Glenn, and Ogletree.

I don't think we watched the same games last year.

Was wondering if anyone would catch that little nugget. Miles would have, but he tipped the nugget into an awaiting defender's hands. :D

The key word is "games" you're looking at one play. Austin wasn't consistent last season it was a mixed bag of good and bad plays.

Dez Bryant and Miles Austin will be the starters. Roy Williams will get less snaps.

However, I think "starting" is pretty fluid. There were a few games based on matchups and gameplanning where Roy Williams started as a lone WR, or Dez and Williams started the first series with Austin on the bench.

It all depends on what the game-plan is. But as far as snaps go, Dez and Miles will get the most snaps.

We lost that game...so a great example. Thanks for reminding me.

The point was that Miles is just as explosive as Dez. There's no way that Dez has proven to be a better playmaker in the offense than Miles. Is it possible, sure, but he hasn't done it.

It took Miles how long before he became what he is? And we already saw Dez in his rookie season making serious noise. Soon the Cowboys will have 2 playmakers at wideout.
