The Hugo train went downhill fast. Would not have guessed that The Artist would be the big scorer. Didn't feel that the Hugo victories were the best choices either. Would have prefered to see Oldham win too...

IMO, the Oscars are way too long. If they'd just get rid of the technical awards, they could cut the length of the show in half. Who really cares about the technical awards, anyway?

Show at least got done at 11:30 or a little. Not like it has been as they have gotten done at 1am. A first it seems at for them.

I watched them, they were interesting to some extent. Some on here must have been fuming that a silent French film won best picture.
