Forget the Claiborne pick, but who did you want Dallas to select at the other draft spots? Here is how my picks would have been made.

3. T.Y. Hilton
4. Jared Crick
4. Josh Chapman
5. Brandon Washington
6. Nate Potter
7. David Molk

Who would you of drafted?......Honestly, without knowing what their outcomes where going to be?

Thanks for not reading

He was my guy, the rest I don't remember where they were selected, and I don't have a complete list of who I wanted, I remember liking Cyrus Gray and Chris Rainey-oops.

My mock from last year:

Rnd 1: Mark Barron Went to TB Rnd 1
Rnd 2: Brandon Boykin Went to Philly rnd 4
Rnd 3: Casey Heyward who went in rnd 2 to GB
Rnd 4: Ben Jones who went before we picked.
Rnd 4: Tank Carder, went before we had our 2nd pick.
Rnd 5:Johnathan Massaqoui who went to Atlanta same round.
Rnd 6:James Hannah( i was right on him. So I went 1/7 lol)
Rnd 7:Brandon Washington( He went in the end of the 6th rnd)

Overall my wish list was pretty solid. I was right on with wanting Casey Heyward who did great for GB. Way to high on Boykin, although I think he'll become a good player.

I remember wanting Ryan Broyles in the 2nd or 3rd round. And was also hoping we might come away with Peter Konz.

I remember wanting Jared Crick with our 3rd. I also remember pining for Alameda Ta'amu. Can't remember what round, though. I really wanted Vontaze Burfict, too.

Hard for me to remember everyone I liked.

Looking at the draft picks T.Y Hilton probably would have been a good pick and although I liked him I don't remember if I was rallying for the cowboys to take him in the 3rd.

Actually looking at that third round it looks like Foles and Hilton might be the best two players and I don't know if we did any better or worse than other teams in that third round (from our pick on).

In the fourth I guess you could go Byrd, Crick or Boykin but nobody really knocks my socks off after our pick.

In the fifth round maybe Chris Rainey

Don't really see anything in the 6th that I would rather take.

I kind of liked Molk but only because I wanted another Center and he was the best one available at that time. Also Dennard but he had legal trouble and fell and was probably off our board.

All and All...I really don't see where we could have done that much better than the picks we got although to be fair I don't really know how all of those picks did with their respective teams.

DeCastro was the guy I wanted. But when we moved up for Claiborne, I was more than happy.

We did a six round draft pool at my friends house. This is who I wrote down prior to the draft last season:

Round 1. Mark Barron, S
Round 2: Peter Konz, G/C (fit the second round profile of injured player)
Round 3: Josh Robinson, CB (I pick a UCF player every year)
Round 4: Evan Rodriguez, TE (I was seriously convinced that they would grab him)
Round 4: Jared Crick, DE
Round 5: Johnathan Massoqoui, DE/OLB
Round 6: Ronald Leary, OG (I whiffed pretty bad on his draft stock)

I know you asked from 3rd round on, but from what I recall, here are some of the guys I liked that were available at our picks last year.

1 (14): Quinton Coples or David DeCastro
2 (45): Peter Konz or Kendall Reyes
3 (81): Jayron Hosley or Mohamed Sanu..maybe Ben Jones
4 (123): Orson Charles or Brandon Boykin..maybe Jared Crick?
4 (135): Josh Norman or George Iloka
5 (152) George Iloka or Marvin Jones
6 (186): Markelle Martin or Brandon Washington or Audie Cole
7 (222): Alfonzo Dennard or Bryce Brown

Mixed bag for sure.

All right if I could have called Dallas's draft without the power of hindsight this is what it would have looked like:
.
1. Claiborne At the time I thought it was a very good value pick.
3. Philip Blake I was afraid he would go right before Dallas picked in the 4th and I was right. Would have much rather have had him than Crawford. Although looking back now Crawford looks like a pretty good player.
4. Ronell Lewis I wanted to take a chance on him at OLBer. With the switch to a 4-3 those this would have been a wasted pick.
4. Josh Chapman NT Dallas needed another NT and this guy and Brent would have a solid run stopping combo.
All the other picks look about right. I was happy with those picks and tought they represented good value.

Looking back on this draft, there was not much available in the latter rounds. This years draft lacks the star power at the top but looks to have much better value in the lower rounds.
