Not entirely accurate.

Best to wait as close to the season as possible. Injuries/draft/cuts/additions can change a lot from now and the start of the season.

The Cowboys are a mediocre team that's been proven the last 2 seasons it's going to take a lot to change that. None of the additions the team has made so far can be clearly viewed as an upgrade until we see how these players perform as Cowboys. None of the players they've added were great players for their previous teams or they wouldn't have been available. KC a team that lacks talent had plenty of cap room to resign Carr and chose not to. Possibly the best free agent the Cowboys signed is a player they hope never sees the field. The team still has a number of holes and will be banking to fill some of them during the draft with unproven players.

The team took a big hit a WR losing Robinson good luck finding a 3rd receiver this offseason that will make the kind of impact he did last season. Everyone had Philly in the SB at the end of July last year so whether you guess now or close to the season it's a guess. I know from following the Cowboys as closely as I do they have a ways to go to be a serious contender. The team has issues beyond just personnel issues.

I predict that even if we go 19-0 someone will be upset in some way.

I predict every player on the team will at some point be not good enough based on one play here or there.

I predict every move we make is going to be rated as so so or suspect, but every move made by a division rival is potential danger.

I predict that whether the roof is open or closed someone is going to be pissed about it.

I predict that there will be at least 5 threads posted wondering what color jerseys we are wearing, is it a throwback game, etc.

I predict every veteran player released that has a recognizable name will merit a thread asking if we should pick him up.

I predict Tony Romo will play in at least one golf tournament and someone will have a kidney stone over it.

I predict that no matter how stupid the media is, they will write articles that someone agrees with with. See "trade for Tim Tebow" for an example.
