btw, i was sad to hear the women's soccer league folded the other day. i LOVE alex morgan, to me she is the most beautiful athlete! SOOO gorgeous!! hope they get a new league set up, the MLS should help, maybe just have the major markets have like 8 teams, then play double headers with the mens teams as the main even, if you will.

We only had one pick this year, hope she makes the team and does ok. If we stay healthy, we should be a force. We have a nice mix of inside and outside players....we just need health.

The WPS was doomed to fail, there just isn't money in women's soccer to be a stand alone league. Even countries who are huge in soccer do not have stand alone leagues like that. The good news is that several MLS teams do have women's programs. I know the Timbers are teaming up with the WPSL Portland Rain and Seattle and Vancouver both have women's teams.

If i wanted to watch slower, smaller, less quick, lower verticals......i would go to the park and play a pick up game.......and i barely watch the NBA

I haven't ever watched much WNBA, but with the Lakers season ending early yet again and the Boys obviously still a few months from playing I think I'm gonna start.
