2013 Cowboys Reared there ugly heads Monday Night

Going into the game it kept saying that it just seemed like the type of game we lose... over looking them... reading into the "hype"... 3rd string QB. Just was ripe for our loss.

And the 2013 cowboys showed up.

That was by far the worse tackling game I've seen us play all season. HORRIBLE angles. Missed tackles. I saw three or four tackles where the player just ducked his head and dove... just pathetic.
Coverage on the back end was ok, but we gave up way to many yards after contact... I'd love to see a stat on that from last night.

On offense it seemed like we where back to last years formula... run on first down and then just throw throw throw throw... punt. Murray had like 3 carries in the 4th Qt and overtime... with a Back up or Injured QB! 3!!!

The TO's are KILLING US... we can't continue to turn it over in our redzone and expect to win... we are literally taking points off the board. We all know our kicker isn't going to miss... Now we have a 'Real' team coming in, on a short week that physically is going to take us to the woodshed.

I can only hope this is the wake up call we needed to refocus and get a much needed win against a very very very good cardinals team.

I agree, they went away from whats been working all year. And that Romo as a savior script needs to be tossed. The ball should have gone to Demarco in overtime. Bad play call.

No excuses but it is only 1 loss, Dallas played sloppy. OL did not do a good job picking up blitzes and defensively the worse tackling performance they have had this season. I hate losing any game but this loss will pass. Main thing for Dallas is going out and beating the Cards this coming game to get this taste out of their mouth and to keep the media wolves at bay.

Sure it's only one loss, but it's losing to teams that you are suppose to beat that hurts the team in the end. You beat teams like Washington so you can afford to lose the tougher games. They missed an opportunity to move ahead of the Eagles by a game. On paper its only one loss, but it could and will have ramifications down the road.

Yes is sucks and yes missed opportunity and yet I have seen SB teams loses games just like that it happens that is just a fact. Dallas can either pick themselves up and get ready for Arz or do as many here seem to be doing and go into compete panic and hysteria. No loss is a good loss, losing to a divisional rival like Washington sucks but it is one game you pick up and you move on no one is going to feel sorry for the Cowboys and they sure as hell have to time for feel sorry for themselves.

Wining 6 games in a row is hard for any team, so losing to a rival is bad, but this is the NFL. No one that I know of would have predicted that the Cowboys would be in this position at the start of the season. Hell, I still have a list of the posters that said the Cowboys would only win from 3 - 6 games, period.

However...Washington came in on a sleeping, sloppy team, and won a game. Now, if the Cowboys want to show that they are for real or that they are at least competitive they need to regroup and learn from this. Especially the coaches that could not adjust to the blitz.

Where was the max protection? Where were the screen plays? Was there any play action?

If you look at this loss objectively, it was a total team loss.

It could light a fire under their *** to let them know that they are not all that. And, to your point, it could be their downfall if they think they are not as good as they are and lose more games.

It is now on the players and coaches to suck on that bad taste...either swallow it or spit it out.

that is what my position coach tell me once. but after i left high school after 5 year he went on to manage a pizza place and he hire me and he thank me for being employ of the month and increasing sales.
