Looking back 2013 draft is shaping up as quite good. 2014 has already basically given us 2 starters....
After so many bad drafts the previous 5 years, are we FINALLY righting the ship? Is JG really make that much difference or is that on JJ?

Not saying these 2 drafts are home runs.... But they are vast improvements. I still think Warford>Escobar which would translated a different scenario this draft

Lawrence won't start year 1 according to Garrett. He's brought in to be a nickel rusher and hopefully start in year 2.

You're not the only one who thinks Warford>Escobar. The guy has been the best OL of the 2013 draft (Frederick a close, but clear second)

Injuries will probably force him to start at some point. If Spencer is not ready to go then I could see the defensive looking like Crawford (LDE), Melton (3), McCLain or draft pick (1), Selvie (RDE) with Mincey backing up the left and Lawrence on the right.

Spencer replacement. He can come in and learn the system will getting some reps from Spencer.

Wonder how much weight Marinelli is putting on his injured D line players being able to play and have impact this year, along with the addition of Melton. In that sense agree he's a potential insurance policy regarding Spencer, and if he does more a great deal.
