2013 NFL Draft Game

[18] Rd 1: Tavon Austin WR WVa
[47] Rd 2: Sylvester Williams DT NoCar
[80] Rd 3: Brian Schwenke C Cal
[114] Rd 4: DJ Swearinger FS SoCar
[151] Rd 5: Brennan Williams OT NoCar
[185] Rd 6: Kerwynn Williams RB Utah St

Tavon Austin
Sylvester Williams
Brian Schwenke
Alvin Bailey
Tony Jefferson
Dj Hayden or duke Williams assuming di is gone. Wolff is good too.

18 Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri

47 Eric Reid, S, LSU

80 Alvin Bailey, OG, Arkansas

114 Nico Johnson, LB, Alabama

151 Joe Kruger, DE, Utah

185 Knile Davis, RB, Arkansas

1/18 Tavon Austin WR WVU
2/47 Terron Armstead OT Arkansas Pine Bluff
3/80 Shawn Williams S UGA
4/114 DJ Swearinger S S Carolina
5/151 Bennie Logan DT LSU
6/185 Zac Stacy RB Vanderbilt

This was very close. There were many players I'd rather have that went a pick or two before our pick... Like Sheldon Richardson at 17 and Shamarko Thomas at 79. Each were one pick in front of us and are players I really like.

Akeem Spence, a guy I really like went at 111, just 3 spots before I picked Swearinger (who I also like).

Anyway, Austin would provide more of an impact than the people who are left in this scenario, Armstead would add help immediately on the line, and Williams and Swearinger would add the toughness and leadership we need on that side of the ball.

I also think Mathieu will go later than 85th, where they have him. Too early there, but I'd take him a round later.

Can't take Richardson because he was gone at 17. Otherwise he easily would have been my first round pick.

18 Johnathan Hankins DT
47 Kyle Long OT
80 Corey Lemunier OLB..........ALT Brian Schwenke C
114 Alvin Bailey OG..............ALT Mike Gillislee RB
151 Wiliam Ghoston DE
185 Braden Brown OT

3 offensive line, 2 defensive line, and then throw in RB or C.

note: not that crazy about the rankings on this site...

FWIW, I have a lot of fun with this stuff:

1st - Datone Jones

2nd - Johnathan Jenkins

3rd - Stedman Bailey

4th - Reid Fragel

5th - Earl Wolff

6th - Miguel Maysonet

I actually like this a lot. Lack of guards but good picks.

1. Tavon Austin

- The most explosive playmaker in the draft. Can contribute right away as the slot WR. My favorite player in the draft.

2. Larry Warford

- A steal to last to last this long. Just needs to keep his weight down to be a Pro Bowl guard.

3. Brandon Williams

- Had an outstanding SR Bowl week. Lives in the backfield. I believe he can contribute right away with a lot of success.

4. D.J. Swearinger

- Loves his attitude, can start day 1 at safety.

5. Bennie Logan

- Tough, hard worker who adds another pass rusher to the defense.

6. Ray Graham

- Would have been a 2nd round pick if he didn't tear his ACL. Love the way he runs.

Thanks. The fit of the positions is tough with this CBS ranking. I have to say I think Fragel is being very underrated. If he's there in the 4th I can't get the card in fast enough.

1. Fluker OT
2. S. Williams DT
3. Rambo FS
4. Bailey OG
5. Barner RB
6. Lonergan C

Now, I wouldn't. We'd be able to trade out, anyway.

At this point, I'd take a lower-round flyer on a QB, but not a second unless it was just a special value at that point.

Sean Renfree out of Duke wouldn't be a bad pick mid to late rounds.

18 - D.J. Fluker OT - Alabama
47 - Sylvester Williams DT - North Carolina
80 - Brian Winters OG - Kent State
114 - Devin Taylor DE - South Carolina
151 - Tony Jefferson S - Oklahoma
185 - Aaron Mellette WR - Elon

I'm ready to grab Nassib if he's available in the 2nd round.

He's a head scratcher. Some teach is going to reach really badly for him.

Then again ... who knows? Everyone is so cautious about the QB position.

If he's there at #47, I say grab him and get him ready for 2015.
