Football games often have a few key plays in a game that determines who wins or loses. This is my top 5 up until this point in the season. Who will make the play this weekend? I am willing to bet there will be a key play or two that determines the game vs GB.

If you have some others that should be included, please share.

1) "The Catch" - The grab that Terrance Williams made against Seattle was unbelievable, and on par, if not better, than any other catch made by any receiver this year. It was simply unbelievable it terms of extension, game timing and body control.

2) "The Fumble and the sack" - DLaw fumbled away the strip sack made by Spencer that would have sealed the game. Only a few plays later made his own strip sack and secured it to seal the game. That is made for Hollywood football.

3) "The Pick" - Bruce Carter picked off Davis for a 25 yard score in the 4th to seal the deal against the St Louis Rams. This capped a 21 point defecit comeback victory.

4) "The Ole" - Romo spun away from JJ Watt, one of the games most feared rushers for a TD to TWill. A blind side sack from that guy could have ended Romo's year, given his back situation.

5) "The Drive" - Romo was just strip sacked and Philly took the lead 24-21. 24 Unanswered points in a row. All Romo and Dallas did was answer the call with a drive that champion teams are made of. A 5 minute 8 Play 78 yard TD drive that had everyone involved.

1st and 10 at DAL 22 (5:36) D.Murray right tackle to DAL 23 for 1 yard

2nd and 9 at DAL 23 (4:54) (Shotgun) T.Romo pass deep right to D.Bryant to DAL 45 for 22 yards

1st and 10 at DAL 45 (4:10) (Shotgun) T.Romo pass short right to J.Witten ran ob at PHI 44 for 11 yards

2nd and 10 at PHI 44 (3:01) D.Murray left guard to PHI 23 for 21 yards

2nd and 11 at PHI 24 (1:37) (Shotgun) T.Romo pass short right to D.Bryant to PHI 2 for 22 yards

1st and 2 at PHI 2 :)50) D.Murray up the middle for 2 yards, TOUCHDOWN. D.Bailey extra point is GOOD

Dallas Takes lead 28-24 and never looked back

Honorable Mention) "The Call" - I have never seen a PI get picked up. I hate to include this because it was not a play made by a Dallas player, but it was a huge play nonetheless. But it was the right call and it surely helped Dallas chance to keep the comeback rolling.

Good stuff

btw, Stafford had no open receivers on the fumble/sack....that game was over whether he fumbled or not. That play does not belong on the list. Almost any big play on the game-winning scoring drive that preceded it (Romo to Witten or Romo to Williams) would be better...imo.

Romo's 3rd and 13 first down scramble against the Rams, down 24-20 in the 4th quarter and deep in our own territory. Kept the drive alive and led to the winning score. This was early in the season with the jury still out on how healthy Romo could play. This showed he was going to do whatever it takes and will us to victory. Defining moment of the season imo

There have been about a dozen iconic plays/moments that have defined this season.

Agree. Totally unexpected, and a sign that this team & Tony will do whatever it takes to get the W

The other drive that was just as big was at the Giants. Going into that game, we had lost 2 of our last 3, and we trailed 28-24 with 3:00 left. Romo went 6 of 6 for 66 yards and the TD to Dez for the win.

His combined numbers on those two crucial drives: 9 of 9 121 yd TD

If not for the sack, Stafford could've waited until someone got open. That sack was one of the plays that won the game for us. It belongs on the list.

DFWJC is prob a DLaw hater pushing his own agenda.

funny
I'm a fan actually.
I was mostly referring to fumble recovery part of it (which was irrelevant since it was 4th down). But still, that pocket collapsed and even in the broadcast and on the NFL replay, they said game over regardless.

No big deal, its on your list. great

sometimes other posters take what one poster says and changes it around. Intent or not, happens, but you were the bigger person.
