I was just thinking about this... but yea... everything se ems to add up

Tony Romo = Jake Taylor (Tom Berenger) - old vet, battling injuries, looking for a shot at doing something great one last time

Jerry Jones = Rachel Phelps - Owner who has no business managing the team and at times it looks like he is trying to sabotage them to make money.

Rolando McClain = Ricky Vaughn (Charlie Sheen) - Guy with checkered past who brings major attitude to the team

Jason Garrett = Lou Brown - Not a guy that any of us would put money on and was probably just a tool by the owner to make the team suck, but is doing something good with the team (though I can't see Garrett pissing on a contract)

Brandon Carr = Roger Dorn - Used to be a good player... but now is just sucking money that could be used elsewhere and hopefully will be gone by the sequal

Demarco Murray = Willie Mays Hayes - Speedster that came out of nowhere to dominate the league and make some amazing plays

Dez Bryant = Pedro Cerrano - Goes a bit crazy when he makes a bad play, or when his team isn't up to snuff but brings attitude to the offensive side of the ball that no one else on his team really does, and when he "gets his pitch" he "knocks it out of the bleachers"

Sadly, I got no one for the line but yep, everything seems to add up here. So I guess there is just one thing left to do...

hmm...

Are you drunk or bored ?

Even as a Commanders fan...I can say that the Cowboys/Indians/Major League reference/comparison...does not really work.

Mostly bored, and other than the fact that we didn't start the season out quite as bad (which really when you consider that to win your division in baseball, you have to win around 90 games, they probably didn't either) we are a total copy. It's because Rolando is black isn't it. You just can't let a black guy take Charlie Sheen's role... RACIST! Just kidding... mostly... I mean... you are a Commanders fan...

If you are a guy that plays pro sports. You have that carrot in front of you. They all dream of the prize and convince themselves that it is a real goal. If not, you have already lost.

I do understand boredom and trying to have a different type of conversation however.

The funny part about your post is that you said "mostly".

Thanks.

Is the team plane a WWII era clunker? Oh, and who is the old religious dude who keeps teasing Cerrano/ Dez? Witten?

Nope it works in reverse, he starts out naked and the Cowboys are so desperate to put the clothes back on they play their behinds off to do it.
