It looks to be a strong draft, but like all drafts the law of numbers says a certain percentage will be busts. Lets hope alot of them dont end up here.

Not sure about how it will stand in history but looking at some choices in the 3rd and 4th rd, we are going to pass on some starters IMO. I think it is crucial we collect some picks from trading back in the 1st as IMO Donald only holds value for about four teams besides the cowboys(Titans,Steelers,Pats, 49ers). Jerry sees himself as the wheeler dealer well this year will expose his talent and hopefully glorify his legend.

Most of you probably saw this, but one exec stated that last years #1 draft pick Eric Fisher might not be a top 15 pick in this years draft because it is so strong.

I agree with this. There is some seruous talent on the offensive side of the ball. Major talent at WR and OL. I think the DL position may be underrated in this draft. I think it is weak at the 3 tech though. I think this is why we may have a problem getting a difference maker at 16. Donald would fit the defense perfectly but I don't see him getting past the Bears. Jernigan has a high bust potential IMO. I also think the safety position is weak. If Donald is gone I would not mind Martin

It's very deep but not great in the top 10.

Unfortunately, DL is not one of the really deep positions. A guy like Kawann Short (2nd round 2013) would probably be a 1st rounder this year.

I don't see the Bears going with Donald at his size. They aren't running Marinelli and Lovie Smith's defense anymore and may be transitioning to the 3-4 or at least a hybrid version.

If they could pull that off safely that would be great, but the other teams could always trade up and steal him.

Strange.. Ive been hearing this is a very weak class, or a class with "potential"

I've heard just the opposite on both NFLN and ESPN. The consenses seems to be it's at least the best in the last 10 years.

I agree with you on all counts and being a Seminole fan I hate to admit it but I'm scared of we get timmy. This Draft class is good and deep but it's a skill player Draft that gets remembered. However I feel in a Draft like this If we could get 2 first round picks (and used them on defense) we could be a top 15 defense this year.

Now I got to ruin the agreement you have with my thoughts on the draft. At this point 60 days before draft day, I would be most comfortable trading out of the 1st and going large on day 2. If Donald is gone that would be my plan. It would be nice to see lots of bigs taken in this draft helping our trenches.

Without a doubt it appears to be. We can't accurately judge this for ten years or so. I wouldn't be shocked if this class was able to put out 5-10 HOF'ers, but in the NFL nothing is a certainty.

Oh I get it. 2013 the Draft best ever? Luck/RG3 are 10 x the QB that Manziel is. The OT position was weak last year, doesn't mean that because there are better tackles this year it's the best draft ever. Jeez.

Not sure if you understand ANYTHING about football. Three of the first four selections in the entire draft were......you guessed it.....OFFENSIVE TACKLES...:D

Not sure if YOU understand anything about football. Wait until those hall of famers coming out in this draft class perform first before you judge a draft. Because, like I said, you don't understand anything if you do that. So long...

People keep repeating this over and over again and it simply is not true.

Strong draft or not it doesn't really matter to me. You can still pull a stinker with a draft that is considered great. On the other hand you can hit a home run in a draft considered subpar.

Newton, Miller, Dareus, Green, Peterson, Julio, Aldon Smith, Tyron, JJ Watt, Nick Fairley, Mike Pouncey, Robert Quinn, Solder, Amukamara. Clayborn, Phil Taylor, Costanzo, Cam Jordan, Jimmy Smith, Muhammad Wilkerson

I think the 2011 first round was very good. Man, a lot of teams pulled some franchise building talents in 2011. With the exception of some QB reaches and the usual misses later in the first, 2011 was a excellent first round.
