Anyone think Jerry goes back after the former Razorback and everyone's favorite RB a few years ago, McFadden?

I would like to see the Boys sign three maybe four cost effective depth players instead of one/two high priced ones.

A WR with upside like Danario Alexander.

A guy playing out of position in Green Bay like Mike Neal or an interior lineman coming off injury- Henry Melton.

A DE who has been under-utilized, Robert Ayers.

Maybe a guy who can fill in at guard or center....Joe Hawley?

Greg Hardy is a terrific player and I seriously doubt Carolina lets him get out of town, but if he does hit the open market, I would pull out all stops to try to get him in Dallas as the Strongside DE. He's 25 years old, is big, strong, and agile at 6-4, 290, and his contract would pay him less in 2014 than we paid Spencer last year. IMO, Hardy is the premier SDE in the NFL. We could let Spencer go, and let low priced Tyrone Crawford backup Hardy and give him breaks. Crawford (6-4, 280) and Hardy (6-4, 290) would make a huge, physical strong side and would provide a very good pass rush from that spot...................

However, I really doubt Carolina lets Hardy get away.

The rumblings in the local media is that Hardy returning is no such lock. The new GM, Dave Gettleman (sp?) is from the Giants organization who believes in coaching up mid-level talent and get more bodies. Carolina was pretty deep on the D-Line last season, with big money already going to Charles Johnson. Carolina has big deals coming up to be redone such as Cam Newton, and in another year Luke Kuechly. I could see a scenario where Hardy goes bye bye.
