How does this years team compare to the 12 and 4 2014 group. I think they are very similar to each other.

I know we are only half way through, but I have seen enough to at least try compare them.

We still don't have a win as good as the Seattle win the 14 cowboys had. All the teams we have beaten don't look so hot right now.

No clue but I do know that Garrett is proving each week that 2015 was an aberration due to injuries. The Cowboys are a double digit win team when they have a feature back coupled with a strong overall running game and an efficient passing attack.

They're pretty similar in my opinion. I will give this team the edge because the rb is better and the players are more gelled now after a few years together

We have a better running back and a rookie QB who doesn't have the down the field ability(which we have not needed yet like we did in the Seattle game in 2014).

Offense is better than 2015 -Zeke gives you that extra level that Murray did not. Less turnovers (or at least feels like it). Dak makes less mistakes than Romo though less highlights... (happy with the tradeoff though). One does not dread an INT unlike with Romo. It feels like we can score each time we get the ball. Even when we got the ball on the 1 (idiot Lucky), we were hoping for a 99 yarder from Zeke.

Defense is better than 2014 - Did not have Lee back then. DBs are better with Jones and improved Mo. DTs are better. DEs - about the same... or even worse.

Overall, we feel like a top 3 team in the league. Serious contender while the 2014 team was getting lucky much of the time. In comparison, we expect to win in most games.

Mainly maturity, offense with the 3 young all-pro caliber offensive lineman, Beasley Defense, secondary and depth on the DL. Lee with more experience.

Say what you want as far as Dallas developing players, but we've apparently done an excellent job. From the first round pick success to the rag tag group on defense that's playing great football given the talent, we're 8-1 and looking to be the top team in the NFC with definite room to grow on defense.

Neither did the Seahawks when we beat them at that point that season.

We beat a few playoff caliber teams. There aren't many good NFC teams.
