Where's the improvement? A case could be made that we are worse at every position group. If Garrett couldn't get it done with that '14 group, what makes you think it will happen with this group?

Romo -> Dak

Murray -> Zeke

Free, Leary, Travis, Martin, Tyron, -> Collins, Martin, Travis, Williams, Tyron

Witten -> Swaim

Dez, T-Will, Beas, Harris -> Hurns, Thompson, Beas, Gallup

Zeke has looked washed up since 2016 let’s be honest. He looked slow last year and slow today. Murray was better so far.

Zeke didn't have holes on most of his runs today, play selection didn't help. I will admit his pass-blocking was shaky today though.

We can make excuses all we want. There were several plays where Elliott could’ve got more.

Romo was better throwing the ball than Dak. Dak is better running it but he seems to run it less. now. Dak actually protects the football better than Romo too. We cannot forget those games that Romo single handedly threw away.

Zeke is way better than Murray. If he was running behind the 2014 OL he would run for 2000 yards and 20 TDs.

The 2014 OL was 10 times better than what they have now. Tyron was better in 2014 than he is today. Leary was in a different league than Williams right now. Free was better than Collins. The played better as a unit in 2014.

In 2014 Dez was a legitimate threat and a beast running the football. The Cowboys #1 receiver is Cole Beasley and that says it all.

Murray makes a business decision to join the Eagles and everyone all of a sudden gets amnesia about how good he was.
He was good but he had a habit of getting nicked up he only played in 99 of 112 games in his career.

Romo > Dak is an understatement. Romo is 10x better than Dak.

Failures of Cowboys offense not limited to this opener. Group has been held to 9 points or less 5 times in last 9 games.

Linehan and Garrett are responsible for the direction of change...and it never got up off the floor (prone) to start dancing...the team was not ready to start the season and implement everything the designed to make a change.

I term it now, failure, and must earn every ounce of respect that this fan so chooses to give up for the duration of the current coaches...period. Cowboys, this is on YOU.

Earn your way out...you'll have to prove it to this fan, now!!

Romo > Dak is an understatement. Romo is 10x better than Dak.

If he was 10 times better than Dak, we'd have won a few superbowls already. How did a player 10 times the lesser get as far as Romo in his first year playing?

Romo is better than Dak
Zeke is better than Murray
the 2014 o line is a lot better than what we have now, which looks average, if that
2014 receiving core is way better
our defense is better now.

So Romo can flip and play D?

Romo can have make Patrick Crayton catch an easy slant to win the playoff game over the Giants (the year they won the 1st superbowl)?

Romo can make the lights dimmer so Miles Austin can catch a ball lost in the lights (which would have knocked the Giants out of the 2nd Superbowl run)?

Romo can make the refs change their mind and call it a catch in the Green Bay NFC championship game? A ball that was perfectly thrown 30+ yard pass to Dez.

A guy that has all the Cowboys passing records vs a guy that can barely throw 200 yards a game. How many times has Romo not passed for at least 1 TD a game in his career?

True but I'm just comparing the '14 vs '18 teams/players. Demarco played all 16 games that year.

Zeke is better but I don't think the margin is as big as it seems.

Completely forgot about Bailey -> Maher.

In 4 years time, this team has regressed at every offensive position group except running back.
