4 Cowboys made 2nd-Team AP All-Pro:
Left tackle
Tyron Smith, guard
Zack Martin, center
Travis Frederick and kicker
Dan Bailey.
Sean Lee tied for eighth at inside linebacker, which I guess makes him a fourth-team AP All-Pro.
And once again, AP voters show how clueless they are about which position players play. It's not even because Khalil Mack made the first team at two positions -- at least he actually plays both positions. It's because if the voters knew the players' positions, Mack likely wouldn't have made the first team at outside linebacker. He actually tied for the second OLB spot with Thomas Davis -- but that's because some idiot voter gave Thomas Davis one vote at inside linebacker. Except Davis doesn't play inside linebacker for the Panthers, Luke Kuechly does. The same Luke Kuechly who received 49 of a possible 50 All-Pro votes at inside linebacker. Unless that clueless voter gave Davis a vote at a position he doesn't play and would NOT have voted for Davis at the position he actually plays, then Davis would have been ahead of Mack at OLB, and the first-teamers would have been Von Miller and Davis, with Mack and Jamie Collins on the second team.
Seven other players also received votes at more than one position -- Fletcher Cox, Muhammad Wilkerson, Calais Campbell, Jamie Collins, Deone Buccanon, KJ Wright and Tyrann Mathieu.
