Since Earl Thomas is Jesus at Safety on the Zone, I just thought I would remind everyone that with the cap space, we'll have like $20M in 2015.

He'll be a free agent if Seattle can't get an extension done. Discuss.

Earl Thomas is a top 2 or 3 safety in the NFL so he deserves all of the accolades he gets, and Seattle isn't going to let him go, they'll let Richard Sherman go before they let Thomas go.

INTERESTING THAT YOU WOULD SAY RICHARD SHERMAN -- who will also be a free agent!

Hmmmmm...2015!

It will be interesting to see what they do with Sherman, but Seattle has already stated that Thomas is their main target to get a deal done with.

We will have more than 20 million. I think Witten and carr and free will be released next offseason. The will put us close to 35 milllion.

I would love Earl Thomas but I doubt Seattle let's hum walk. They will find a way to keep him and sherman.

So is Wilson...

You're talking about probably 40 million between those guys (20, 12, 10?) Chancellor makes an AAV of 7, I think. There's no way they can devote around 30 mil to three guys in the secondary. Cap going up will help, but that's a ton of money.

It's been discussed a whole bunch, but they are basically screwed after 2015 in terms of the cap.

Wagner and Okun will both have to be replaced after 2016 as well I believe.

Would go 10M a year on a 6 year contract... he won't hit free agency though.

I'm more interested in Suh, who I think could hit free agency if the Lions don't want to give him a 100m+ contract, which I don't think they will. If the cap jumps another 7m to 140m next year I wouldn't be against a 7 year, 100m contract for Suh.
