Meetings start July 1st.
Signings can be made official July 10th.

Expect all the major names attached via agreement by July 8th.

This 9 day lull allows teams to make all these deals then find the best way to fit those deals under the cap.

Top stars that are at least 30% likely to change teams.
1. LaMarcus Aldridge at top because he is gone
2. Deandre Jordan
3. Tyson Chandler
4. Kevin Love
5. Dwayne Wade

Guys like Jimmy Butler and Kawhi are restricted so 99% certain to return.
LeBron is 99.99% to return.
Draymond Green same in GS. They'll overpay to keep their glue guy.

my predictions:
1. LMA to HOU or SAS
2. DAJ to DAL
3. Tyson Chandler to Clips(DAJ S&T)
4. Love back to CLE
5. Wade goes to highest bidder. (Would really be a great fit in Memphis or CLE after moves to get him there)

I think the Spurs are going hard for Aldridge. That's just a guess because you'll never hear that from a Spurs employee. Aldridge has mucho respect for Pop and Timmy who he works out with every summer. I will be surprised if he goes to any other team besides the Spurs. The Mavs seem to have a great shot and getting Jordan.

I think that is the most likely landing spot for him.
He's 30 and wants to win now. Guys been past round 1 only once in his career.
Not necessarily the best fit next to Duncan but there's enough talent to make it work.
With LMA and Kawhi they could rebuild and stay competitive in 2016.

Got Love back to CLE
DAJ to DAL
Missed on TC
Wade got 20m for one year....

Still assume LMA to SAS or outside shot at HOU.

A real coup would be the Spurs being able to sign LMA, David West, and Kosta Koufos......all while still being able to keep Mills, Joseph, Tim and Manu.

PG: Parker, Mills, Joseph
SG: Green, Manu
SF: Leonard, Anderson
PF: LMA, West, Diaw
C: Duncan, Koufos, LaLanne

They are lean in the backcourt, but the frontcourt is solid. That's why I wish they would have traded their 1st round pick to a team with 2 second round picks and nabbed SF Anthony Brown and SG Pat Connaughton. Then, we would continue to have the deepest team in the NBA. I don't know where they will be able to find extra wing help via FA

Dallas has added some pieces, though IMO, Chandler > Jordan......from a maturity, team chemistry, leadership, and BB IQ standpoint. Jordan definitely has the edge with his athleticism. Ellis was a great scorer, but also a head case. Mathews is a better fit, because, while he can have some immaturity issues, he does have less of a decisive ego than Monte. Addition by subtraction.....Rondo.

Cleveland has done well, with Delladova being the last main piece to lock down.

With Lopez going to the Knicks, and LMA leaving, the Portland front line is significantly weaker, and that makes me happy.

David West is choosing between title contenders SAS and CLE.

Last year I didn't think SAS was a true contender but they are this year very much so.

CLE will have all year to make trades. As a hugely over the cap team that will be their avenue for improvement.

That Brendon Heywood contract of $10 million is going to come in handy

I didn't see Cleveland mentioned......I saw the Spurs and Warriors, but that was a few days ago. I saw another team listed yesterday, I just can't remember who, but I know it wasn't the Cavs.

You likely saw the Wizards mentioned, but Cleveland by all reports is in the mix.

yes, it was the Wizards....which I don't understand why..........to me, if I am going to take a pay cut to go to another team, I am going to go to a top 3-4 team, like GS, SA, Cleveland, Atlanta.......the best chance to win a title is with one of those 4 teams.....not saying guaranteed, but going with probability.

now saying maybe joe johnson to CLE for haywood non-guarantee and anderson varajoa.

if that happens they'd need another 4/5 like david west bad.

I don't see why, Mosgov, Thompson and Love is a better 3 man rotation at the 4/5 than most teams. Not to mention there will be times where Lebron plays the 4 and they go with 3 guards (Irving, Shumpert and Johnson)

gotta have injury protection across a season when only a title is acceptable.
Cavs are 100000% all in so you gotta have quality depth.
That's what cost them last year's title so a mistake they will try their best to avoid.

and West only wants to play for a contender so there's a very real chance to handle it that way.

i think they feel the guy must be able to score.
the cavs realize you can't play lebron every second of every playoff game.
they need more scoring options on that bench.
