If you really break the game down, we could have easily won by a pretty good margin

yeah. I was not impressed with GB. We beat ourselves, and then when we fought back from the mistakes, miscues, etc etc, We got Robbed by the Officials. specifically the Replay Official.

We beat GB imho.

I hate Seattle and their "12th man" moniker that was ripped off from A&M. I wish GB would roll em doubtful but a girl can dream

Doesn't opening night feature the SB winner versus someone? If that is the case, then there quite a few thinking the Packers win it all

The NFL would love this. They create a controversy and then get to profit from it.

I saw that they played next year in Green Bay. I thought the same thing if green bay wins the super bowl.

i don't think GB gonna beat seattle much less win the super bowl, but dallas would be a huge game to start the season with.

If Seattle wins the Superbowl I could see Seattle-Dallas to open the season.

I agree, it will be one of those two teams.

If Seattle wins, it won't be the Seattle - Dallas game. The SB champs get the home game to open. Only time it didn't happen, was when the Orioles would not move their game to accommodate the Ravens having a home game.

One would think of the rating though, but thy can get ratings on the first game no matter who Seattle plays, because it's the opening game.
Seattle - Dallas surely will be a big draw for a SNF game, and I would bet in a late season game, as both teams will be predicted to have winning records, and late in the year.

If Seattle or New England win the Super Bowl, Dallas will not play on Thursday night as the SB winner gets the home game and those two teams play in Dallas.

I think our first game will be either Dallas at Green Bay or Seattle at Dallas on Sunday night.

I actually erased that first sentence, but once I posted my comment it popped back up. Strange. It won't be Seattle-Dallas because as you said the game will be in Dallas and if Seattle wins the SB they will host on opening day. Now if Seattle doesn't win the SB I could see them coming to Dallas for SNF.

I absolutely cannot wait until we play Green Bay next year. I think we are going to come out with revenge on our mind and show the world that we are the better team

And hopefully they will be coming off a blowout loss to Seattle that takes them back to earth...

If you really break the game down, we made self inflicted mistakes, where as Green Vay made plays when it mattered.

The no catch was BS but besides that, the better team won. Especially considering the health of Rodgers

That third and one incompletion could have put the game at 17-7, if not 21-7. In the second half DeMarco fumbled what would have been a dagger touchdown. There's definitely an argument for us winning that game pretty decisively. Don't forget that fumble that fell in Hanna's hands, but failed to recover.

I wouldn't mind Green Bay on opening day/night or very early in the season. Lambeau is on my bucket list to visit and would prefer it to happen before the weather changes.

Don't forget the NFL/networks have a rematch of this very NFC championship game in their pockets for possibly the Thursday opener if they want. We may be playing someone else.
