  • Mario Edwards Jr., DE/DT/3-4DE, Florida State (COM)
  • Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin (COM)
  • Chris Hackett, FS, TCU (COM)
  • Connor Halliday, QB, Washington State (COM)
  • Benardrick McKinney, OLB/ILB, Mississippi State (INT)
  • Blake Sims, QB, Alabama (COM)
The legends:
SR - Senior Bowl meeting.
EW - East-West Shrine meeting.
COM - Combine meeting.
INT - Interested.
VINT - Very Interested.
PRO - Pro Day or campus meeting/workout.
LOC - Local visit.
PRI - Private visit.
WOR - Private Workout.
% - indicates more than one meeting at an event.
^ - has met with team at more than one event.
# - indicates meeting set up outside of the 2015 Senior Bowl or the 2015 East-West Shrine Game

In my opinion, people should start thinking of Bernardrick McKinney as a DE--I suspect that's how the Cowboys view him. He got a lot of teams' attention when he lined up at DE and beat Ogbuehi for a sack.

Some notes from McKinney's pro day:

2015 Pro Day Notes
By Tony Pauline, http://draftinsider.net/

Almost 30 teams were on hand for the Mississippi State pro-day, including New York Jets defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers and a number of defensive line coaches.

Preston Smith and Benardrick McKinney worked out at both defensive line and linebacker drills.

I'm told Benardrick McKinney looked good in pass-rush drills. If he does land in the latter part of Round 1, those leaving the pro-day believe the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys are teams that could potentially pull the trigger. The surprise team in the mix are the Houston Texans, who are likely to lose Brooks Reed in free agency.

In past years, moderators kept a sticky thread for past visits. I don't know if they intend to do so this year. I wouldn't be surprised if the isn't more extensive than what is listed at Walter Football.

Is this for the Cowboys?

My boy Damarious Randall is one of Dallas' 30 invites.

Cumming is a surprise to me - IMO he will be gone before 27

I want nothing to do with

•Connor Halliday, QB, Washington State (COM)
•Blake Sims, QB, Alabama (COM)

I think its a list of players they have met with at one time or another throughout the pre draft process. The prospects coming in for visits will slowly start to accumulate fairly soon. The only one I've heard is Gordon. I guess Randall is also according to @Chris in Arizona

Blake Sims, in my opinion, is almost certainly being evaluated as a RB. He's built like a RB, 5' 11", 220, with RB speed. He's got a weak arm by NFL standards, lack of height, and was only a one year starter in college. There's a long history of college QBs successfully converting to other positions in the NFL.

Cobb on Green Bay is the best convert!

Sims also has Saban pimping for him. Garrett's ears probably perked up.
