DDP is in phenomenal shape. They will have no problem with him in the ring for a few minutes....

Yes he is. I didn't think condition would be an issue with him. Just age. Glad to see he got to put a little offense in, that was cool. I may have to buy DDPYoga now.

Title match was... ok. Seemed really short. Can't figure out what they are doing with Paige. Bella twins are better in the ring, but still don't care that much. Usos and Miz/Mizdow was another fine match.... but really tired of it. How and why did the Ascension get called up?

And the Rumble.....holy crap did the crowd turn on the WWE after the Bryan elimination. So bad that even the Rock couldn't save it at the end.

This show sucked. I should have watched the Pro Bowl instead.

This was a good show for the most part.

The Triple Threat for the title was fantastic. They did everything right with that match up. Such a great job of booking and doing what needed to be done there.

They had that crowd really hot heading into the Rumble.

They had the crowd growing hotter and hotter with the arrival of Bubba Ray and then when Daniel Bryan came out...Boom. Huge.

And then in one, extremely stupid, and completely unexplainable moment they ruined it all.

The elimination of Daniel Bryan so quickly was just flat out STUPID.

They absolutely KILLED the crowd off at that point. I mean KILLED the crowd off.

That is some of the most ignorant and just blatantly stupid booking I'd ever seen. I am certain that the majority of the crowd believed that either Bryan or Reigns would win the Rumble. I am certain that's what they believed. But the moment they eliminated Bryan early the WWE completely gave away who was obviously going to win the Rumble, for certain, and the crowd died. They crapped all over Reigns because of this. Now Reigns looks like Batista last year (For different reasons of course) because of the way this was booked.

If Bryan is there till the end and Reigns wins I'm certain the fans would have been a lot better about it because it would have allowed them to think that either one of them could be the one winning. The way they did it killed that.

And worse yet...they killed the crowd for what? To get The Rock involved in the storyline for absolutely zero reason? What the heck is the reason to involve him with Reigns and the Authority? It just didn't make a lick of sense and it just totally destroyed the event. I have never seen a crowd that was as hot as last night get killed so quickly in one event. I've seen hotter crowds, clearly, but those crowds remained hot because back then the WWE didn't do stupid things to kill the crowd.

Now there is going to be no choice but to make Reigns a bad guy, which quite frankly he's not good enough on the mic to pull off in a convincing fashion, and they're going to be forced to go with Lesnar as the good guy heading into Mania.

Also for anyone who watched the fall out show...so it appears we're going to see Cena vs. Rusev for Mania lead up and a Mania match? SNOOZE. That has suck written all over it. Rusev is absolutely painfully boring and terrible. Putting him with Cena...just yuck.

And now where does this leave Rollins? He still has Money in the bank but at this point there is no good place to cash it in other than after the Main Event of Mania. Does that even apply? Don't they do a Money in the Bank match at Mania? So won't that cancel out Rollins briefcase? Just some very weird and silly booking having him hold it all this time to where there now appears to be now clear, or quality, pay off.

I don't think he's all that good but I would have had Ambrose win. People really like him.

To me Seth Rollins is the best guy on that show as far as skill & talking.

i will tape it tonight to see if Sting is on!

That's another thing... how was Sting not involved? Have they used up half his contacted appearances already or something?

No question you are spot on with your post. What I am wondering this morning is did Bryan get knocked off the edge of the ring by accident? Was his elimination a mistake? Because there is no way WWE Creative could have came up with that dumb idea of him getting eliminated so fast. I'm going to look around and see if I can find any kind of explaination and post it later.

Yeah that was a little disappointing. But the WWE is only getting 3 or 4 appearances and 2 have been used now. Using Sting instead of The Rock would have been better last night.

I'm not trying to split hairs or anything but I read that it was 5 or 6 total appearances?

Maybe Bryan's neck isn't right. He's had a few matches. Maybe he's not right..

Wrestling fans were seething after the World Wrestling Entertainment’s annual Royal Rumble event came to what appears to be an unsatisfactory end in Philadelphia on Sunday night.

After Roman Reigns emerged victorious for the evening’s highly anticipated battle royal finale, fans sounded off in mass on social media outlets with the hashtag: “#CancelWWENetwork” that was trending worldwide by the night’s end.

It appears the WWE NETWORK has fail written all over it.

The money WWE is making from their network hasn't replaced their income from PPV's and of course their stock dropped badly. The goal was to reach 1 million subscribers by the end of 2014 to break even. Last I heard they were around 750,000 give or take. Vince's seat has to be pretty warm I would think.

I read where they lost half their worth but not sure where I read that. On here maybe? :D

So he's no longer a billionaire.

I would like to believe that it had to be something to this effect but Bryan didn't appear to give any sort of reaction that it was unexpected. Nor did anyone else involved in the match. It looked like to me that it was clearly planned.

I still think that Bryan has something wrong with him & they don't think he can stay healthy.

#CANCELWWENETWORK MOVEMENT SWEEPS SOCIAL MEDIA AS FANS REVOLT OVER THE ROYAL RUMBLE
Posted by Matt Yoder on Jan 26, 2015 10:45

WWE Network has had its share of ups and downs over its first year existence, but it may have hit rock bottom on Sunday night after the Royal Rumble event. Pro wrestling fans were so upset with the proceedings that the hashtag #CancelWWENetwork was trending worldwide. That’s right, wrestling fans were encouraging one another to cancel their monthly subscription over their mounting frustration with the current product. That doesn’t seem like a good way to sustain an already risky business venture.

Just how bad was it for WWE? As the #CancelWWENetwork hashtag was trending worldwide, many wrestling fans put their money where their tweets were and canceled their subscription to the network. As you might recall, WWE removed the six month commitment for subscribers and made the network available on a monthly $9.99 basis. That plan seems to have backfired in a major way as the WWE Network cancellation page crashing due to the heavy traffic and so many people wanting to dump their $9.99 monthly subscription after the Rumble. Eep
