And they're apparently trying to move one of their recently acquired big money free agents.

Rapoport, so it's true.

Wow! Trying to clean up all of Chips mess last season. Sad for us if true as Dez owns that dude!

Listen, the free agency period is here. There's going to be action all over. I can not stress this enough. Follow Mike Fisher on Twitter and pay for his premium service or you won't really know what truly went on with the Cowboys.

Informed or clueless. It's your choice.

4.99 seems like a small price to pay to eliminate ignorance.

DAL essentially has 40m in cap space and only 1m in Dead Money.

If they don't spend some smart money this year they have officially become the Bidwells.

Profits over production. Frisco must be tying up a ton of cash.

I suggest you take a look at how Mike Bidwell has been running that team for the past 5 years or so. Although your statement might have been true historically, it no longer applies.

You may be right.

I just remember hearing stories about them having to buy their towels and only getting one pair of cleats and stuff like that.

Not true. There are plenty of blabbermouths on this site that will pay for the service and then fill us in. :)

According to Schefter, Kiko Alonzo may be part of the deal as well.

My guess is that they want a 1st or 2nd rounder for the 2 of them. Make it part of the package it to move up to grab a QB. Goff or Wentz.

Hopefully the others will overspend and Dallas will be more prudent. The Carr contract continues to haunt us. Hardy was a wasted signing as well but at least the Cowboys had learnt something and protected themselves.

Why do you want the Cowboys to be more prudent? The Carr contract hasn't haunted the team whatsoever. You're being ignorant.

For some reason Wentz or Goff to the Iggles doesn't sound like a major deal to the rest of the NFC East. Nothing is a lock with those two, nobody frightened by that move.

I'm speculating. Because I'm bored.

No, I'm cereal fruitloops. Nobody is afraid of their talent because it's obviously not Winston or Moriota, unless you buy into the hype.

Marvin Jones and Chris Ivory put fear into the East, they are proven to move the sticks.

Only restructure the contracts if they are using the money on a specific player. Don't just push money into the future just for the sake of doing it.

Have a plan in place before you act, Jerry. A novel idea for you to consider.

Smith is a perfect candidate for restructure. He's here for life, and seems pretty durable.

His contract is guaranteed and so are Crawford's and Dez'. They should restructure all 3 and pick up 20m in cap space. They will all be here for years.
