It seems almost a universal consensus that this draft class is so good we hit it out of the park on every pick. In many prior years the Cowboys were criticized on almost every pick.
The hits from 2016 seem to have given everyone an optimism that I haven't seen here since I have been a member of this board. In prior years it seemed as though the pessimism ran so rampant that guys assumed that none of our draft picks would ever pan out.
Take our third round pick for instance ....he has a legal cloud hanging over his head. If this selection had been made last year Jerry would have been vilified over the pick much like the Jaylon pick last year. It's funny how confirmation bias taints one's perception.
Last years draft may have well been the best in 20 years, but that has yet to be proven just yet. It must continue to pay dividends and stand the test of time.
This years draft class has so much optimism surrounding it I am not sure I am on the right website. Lol. It is not realistic to believe we hit it out of the park twice in a row. Not likely to happen, but if we did I see several Super Bowls on the horizon.
