1. Jared Goff, California – 2nd Round
Jared GoffGoff’s no superstar, but he’s the surest thing at the quarterback position in this class, and possesses a relatively high floor. In an offense with playmakers around him, I think Goff can become a productive passer at the next level.

2. Paxton Lynch, Memphis – 2nd Round
Paxton Lynch NCAA Football: Birmingham Bowl-Auburn vs Memphis It’s a tight race between Lynch and Jones for which quarterback has the highest ceiling in this class, but I slightly prefer the athleticism and gutsiness of the Memphis signal caller. Lynch has some mechanical flaws, but can rifle the ball into tight windows while dropping deep passes in the bucket with touch.

3. Cardale Jones, Ohio State – 2nd Round
Cardale Jones I’m a big fan of Jones game, and it would not surprise me at all if he becomes the best quarterback in the 2016 class. His mechanics and arm strength are impressive, but Jones also flashed the ability to move through progressions and buy time in the pocket when necessary. Consistency is the key, and it’ll take good coaching to develop that trait in Jones.

4. Carson Wentz, North Dakota State – 2nd Round
Carson Wentz NCAA Football: Division I Championship I’m a big fan of Wentz’s game, but the NDSU quarterback’s rise to “top ten” notoriety on many analysts’ boards is a bit much. Everything happens too slowly in the pocket for Wentz, whose stance and accuracy will need some work at the next level. His arm and ability to make tough throws will likely entice a team enough to get him selected in the top 15 picks come April 28.

5. Connor Cook, Michigan State – 3rd Round

Interesting.

Realistically are the best QB's in this draft really 2nd round talents?

To have Jones and Lynch ahead of Wentz is absurd.
