When I watched some tape, I thought he didn't step up well in quality against Mssissippi State. They won the game, but it was all screen passes. The deep out went. I also just don't know whether or not he can run at the next level. He moves well for his size, but can he actually run the ball well against an NFL defense? And is his speed 4.5 or 4.7? We'll see.

I think as people really dig into his tape they're going to see how much of his stats are padded by screens and run after the catch. They're going to see a guy who, when forced to scan and read a defense, looks lost and gets happy feet. When he throws under duress his accuracy really suffers. These are reasons I think Wentz leapfrogs him. Not just because I think Wentz will rise, but because I think Lynch will fall.

You must not watch his tape if you think its all padded by screens.

Reading comprehension...

I said much of his stats and I said screens and run after the catch. His accuracy numbers are greatly inflated by that offense and he got a lot of yards from his guys running after the catch. I have watched everything I can on him. I am not the only one who has pointed this out either.

Let me soothe some fears here and point out he'd have at least a couple of years working with Wade Wilson before he'd have to take over the starting gig for the Cowboys.

All better?

Man, good call. I had never even thought about that. I don't want that guy running my team, but he can coach my QB and run my offense anyday! We need to dig deep and play six degrees of separation between Jerry and Trestman. You know he's going to have to need some affiliation to the franchise to be considered...

Trestman was on Jimmy Johnson's staff at the University of Miami (QB coach). Unfortunately, that would likely disqualify him.

He's also not the kind of guy who is going to come in and agree to run Garrett's playbook. Never going to happen.

That's one of the main reasons I want Goff...............I want a QB that is as much a "finished product" as possible with this coaching staff.

Have zero faith in Garrett, Linehan, Wilson, and crew to properly develop and train a new QB.........I want one that is ready to go day 1 and that is Goff.
