We'll just have to disagree on his speed. He has excellent speed. You don't log 10 TD catches of 40+ yards or more in a season if you don't have excellent speed and show it on the field. He out ran Adoree Jackson in the USC game and Jackson is a NCAA sprinter.

And FWIW, a few mocks have him going late first round now.

I think thats about the highest he may go. Before seeing him at the combine I think he's somewhere in the end of the 1st-end of the 2nd range. If he runs in the 4.45-4.50 range it could push him down. I expect him to be a sub 4.40 guy and likely faster. If he does that, I think he compares fairly favorably to D. Smith from last year.

Devin Smith seems to be a name that's he's been compared to a lot.

I really want a 2nd WR for this team but I don't think I'd jump at Fuller in the first two rounds for the Cowboys. Too many other big needs.

I probably wouldn't either. If we could get him with our 3rd I would be ok with it, but I don't think he's good enough to take at 34. I'm not in love with very many of these WRs this year outside of Treadwell anyways. Would much rather sign a guy like R. Randle or maybe Sanu to a decent contract. Then I'd look for a 4th-5th Rd pick for a developmental guy who can handle PR/KR.

That's interesting, can't say I'm super impressed by the kid though. Didn't watch much ND football, but athletic wise, he's average height, doesn't look super fast - has some really nice jumping abilities though. He'll have to make up for his lack of elite athletic abilities with route running and catching.

Will Fuller runs a 4.3 at worst. He absolutely dusted Adoree Jackson when they played USC this year, and Jackson is considered an Olympic caliber sprinter.

His athletic ability is absolutely elite.

Tyler Boyd could drop to us in the 3rd round. Once considered one of the top prospects at the WR position, his stock's been in a free fall after a lackluster 2015 season and the DUI arrest. I think the kid has the physical talent to be a 3rd round steal, just gotta make sure that the DUI was an isolated bad judgement and not a serious, habitual issue going forward.

Add WVU RB Wendell Smallwood to the early enrollee list. Smallwood led the B12 in rushing this season.

 Seriously, his athletic ability by all accounts stand out. 20.6 avg per catch is not from route running. Clean your glasses.

I don't think he's slow, I'm saying he lacks size and doesn't make up for it with elite speed. Someone like Desean Jackson who is 5-10 but has great down the field speed that has helped him throughout his career. I've seen Fuller have a low projected at 4.3, but I'm not seeing that during games.

I love his jumping ability though, I like it a lot actually. A late second or third round grade on him would be perfect and I would not be disappointed grabbing him.

lol you're either confusing him with another player or haven't watched him. Fuller is probably the fastest players in college football.
