2016 Offensive Rookie of the Year and 2017 Defensive Rookie of the Year?

I get what you're saying, but it's not possible. Just because he doesn't play at all this year, doesn't mean the next year is his rookie year.

Are you sure? I know that's how the NBA does it.

I'm about 99% sure. The NBA and others do it because they have a D-League that they can put the players on even if injured from day one so they can say they were developing and the next year is their first year. The NFL doesn't have that.
