If by some act of god we were in a position to draft Watson next year, I wouldn't even blink twice. He's Cam Newton II.

100%. I was ok with taking one of the QB's this year at 4 if they were there, but didn't think either were really worth moving up to get.

If we happen to be in the same position as this year being at 4 and I would be a strong advocate for going up to get Watson.

Cam is 6'5" 245 lbs. Watson, who I like, is listed at 6'2" 210. I got to watch him practice out here in Arizona and I would guess both numbers are generous. He's much closer to Michael Vick than Cam IMO.

I for one hate most of the QBs I've scouted so far for 2017 outside of Kaaya and Watson. That being said I think Luke Falk out of Washington St. has the tools and accuracy to be successful in the NFL.

Chad Kelly and Mahomes are my early favorites for us to draft. Both will need 2 or 3 years of work but they have something special. Gonna be watching a lot of Ole Miss and Tech games this year. LSU games as well. I'm taking a liking to their duo at WR.

terrible list IMO. When our QB situation gets more dire, i.e. Romo is really about finished and we realize Dak sucks....I hope that day is more than 1 season away based on that list.

Who have you scouted for 2017 thus far?

This is my first year really getting into serious scouting but those 3, Russell, Dobbs, Mayfield, and Kiel. Moving onto Rudolph, Kelly, Beathard, and Mahomes next.

Joe Flacco couldn't beat out Tyler Palko at Pitt.

Brady didn't start at Michigan until his senior season, Troy Aikman had to transfer from Oklahoma to UCLA, Russell Wilson transferred from NC State to Wisconsin, and I likely could name more if I wanted to. Sometimes it just doesn't work out in college.
