My almost annual thread asking who will it be. I have never nailed one, and this year I went back and forth between teams, in the end I will say the Jets. Other teams I thought of-the 49'ers, the Bears, the Bills, and the Rams. A QBless Jags also was somewhat weighed, but with a better defense and a real RB, seems to be something of a stretch.

So who might be a dark horse candidate, and who will be the worst?

I am surprised you did not say Browns so I will vote for Browns again, a dark candidate will be Bears, they have not been good since Urlacher left I think...

I would say 4 top candidates are Clev, Indy, NYJ, and LA Rams. Jax and Chicago are within striking distance. I am pretty confident that these 6 teams will be drafting 1 to 6 next year. Just a matter of what order. And if Flacco doesn't play, Balt has a good shot at being a hot, stinking, putrid mess.

Browns have enough talent to win....they just can't.

So its either them or the J-E-T-S.

Jets. Not even close.
Think the Browns have a chance to be close to .500. They have top 5 units on the OL and DL

No doubt in my mind, the JETS. When a team bottoms out, it usually doesn’t happen this fast. There are signs of erosion, a slow decline to the bottom, then a tough decision to rebuild. Not for the Jets. The fall was steep and sudden. The Jets spent big in 2015, with $168 million going to five free agents. They finished 10-6 in coach Todd Bowles’ first season. One year ago, they were considered playoff contenders. A horrendous season later, the Jets look like the worst team in football. They’ve embraced it.

The Jets have stripped down the franchise to an embarrassing level. I'm tickled Romo retired and for some odd reason didn't end up going to that team. Had he of gone, it would be HIS fault the team stinks.

Jags are my sleeper pick. On paper, they have a decent amount of talent. They have a horrible HC and a QB who lost his confidence.

They have looked the worse this preseason, but they have some talent and that division isnt too strong.
