The Cowboys ended the 2017 season with 53 players on the roster, 8 players on the Practice Squad, 8 players on Injured Reserve, and 1 player on the Reserve/Suspended list - for a total of 70 players on the roster.

The Cowboys have lost 18 players, and added 36 players so far this offseason, which includes 11 veteran players and 25 rookies.

My bad. I forgot that the Cowboys signed LS Scott Daly to the roster on April 17th. Daly got a tryout as an undrafted free agent last year with the Bears, but they never signed him to a contract. Ladouceur, who is 37 years old, and contemplated retirement has trained three other long-snappers who are now starters with the Browns, Saints and Broncos. There is a good chance that if Scott Daly does well, he could be the Cowboys long-snapper in 2019 and beyond.

So, the Cowboys actually have 89 players drafted or under contract.

Blue is projected starters, and purple is for the 12th "starter" for offense and defense, which are the #1 slot receiver and #1 nickel cornerback.

I am anticipating Witten's retirement, which is why Swaim is the projected starting TE.
