I think too many people are looking at Dez and Witten leaving as a bad thing when we all (or mostly all) know that's good for the team.

The majority outside of Dallas might have agreed with that if they had done something a lot more significant to replace them.

Agreed. Dak has been better without Dez. It will be interesting to see how the offense adjusts without Witten, he has played pretty much every offensive down for over a decade.

But in truth, we really did go 8-8, as Philly forfeited that last game

It doesn't matter where you live it's not hard to figure that out.

If it were that easy, all that younger, faster more athletic talent would have shown something by now.

And "addition by subtraction" belongs on a bumper sticker or campaign poster. The same people counting on that alone being enough are the same people that thought Dallas was going to have a dominant running game with 3 mediocre RBs because fans called them a "3 headed beast".
