2018 Pro Bowl Thread

Players should go full speed and play to win, any player that gets hurt should get extra compensation and that team should get a salary cap exemption, then maybe this game would be watchable lol

They still wouldn't go full speed. No one wants to spend months rehabbing from an injury in the Pro Bowl.

If you’re that down on him you might as well give up watching the Cowboys for the next few years at least because he’s going to be the QB. I personally wouldn’t the watch the team if I was that down on our QB.

There is always hope the team lands a franchise QB.

Or that Elliott gets like 400 carries next year.

Who’s to say we don’t have one? Were you saying that after his rookie season? If you’re hoping we’re going to be looking for another QB anytime soon to replace Dak you’re wasting your time watching the team.

No, I wasn't. After his rookie year, I thought we caught lightning in a bottle twice (first Romo as an UDFA and then spending only a 4th on Prescott).

And why should I stop watching the team? Because I don't want to settle for borderline starter at the most important position? I know they aren't going to look elsewhere for at least another year. I don't agree with that decision.

You weren’t saying it after his rookie year because you were thrilled with his play, it’s called living in the moment. After a down second season you’re giving up on him because once again you’re living in the moment. He was solid the first half of the season until Zeke was suspended and Tyron started missing games and struggling with injuries. If you’re thrilled with a player one season and want to move on from them the next you’re nothing more than a bandwagon fan.

Chris Berman is back with ESPN. At least he has a more limited role now.

I think they should cancel the game quite honestly. Everybody's playing not to get hurt and I don't blame them.

Would much rather have a true skills week than watch flag football in pads.

Yep.

Check out the golf tournament in San Diego on CBS and look how beautiful it is (as it always is). Why they don't play this game in California or Hawaii is beyond me.

Florida is always a crapshoot in the winter (remember the Colts Super Bowl win in the rain) and unbearable in the summer.

I feel bad for you, you're going to be miserable for the foreseeable future then.

Man....this pro bowl is worse than ever. I just tuned in between movies. It’s an embarrassment; as early as they are blowing the whistle, why don’t they just play flag football. I wonder if this is what the reg games will look like in 5-6 years.
