Probably Charles Omenihu / Texas. I think he could be an D. Irving type presence and move inside to DT. Saivion Smith / Alabama is another versatile player that I think could play FS. Lil'Jordan Humphrey would also be an interesting pick lining up in the slot. I like his YAC ability.

I know this is just for fun but I don' t really like any of those guys for us, haha. Well, I do like Irv Smith. The good thing is, there should be more DL up there that will be available and good value in the late 2nd that aren't on it.

I think it's TE or DT in the 2nd with how deep the classes are, especially at DT. There are probably going to be 4-5 more DTs that fall into lower 2nd round/high 3rd consideration in this class. I think the only way DT isn't BPA (and a need) is if a TE falls and the dropoff in draft talent is too much.

Irv Smith is one of the only realistic TEs I would possibly take if he's on the board. I expect Hockenson is long gone, unfortunately, i wish we could draft that dude. I don't really like TEs that can't really block and are basically bigger WRs, getting killed when they're asked to block. The only guys that *really* become successful are just so freakish athletically with coaches that use them that way. Especially for us (and teams like the Rams), who want to line up with something like 1 TE and 3 WR and Zeke most of the time. Irv Smith has a lot of potential all around, there's still a ton of time until the draft, but he's going to move up boards IMO. As of right now, I'd be okay with that as long as we didn't pass on a monster DL or pass on a player that was obviously BPA.

There are a ton of underclass TEs in this draft that are tier 2-3 guys, I haven't worked my way through them but even if we didn't take a TE in round 2, one could very well be taken in Round 3-4 and be a lot better than the Swaims of the world.

Don't think we're going WR, DB could be a possibility if he's just a gangbusters type player sitting there.

While I would probably draft a top T if he's BPA at our pick, I don't think it will be and I doubt we draft one that's debatable.

I wrote a lot but Draft Zone has been boring. It'd be fun to take this list and see how it changes between now and the Draft. That's one thing that's always fun to me

I doubt Omenihu is available at 58, otherwise he would be my first choice.

I like Willis, Mack, Deebo Samuel, Layne and Irv Smith.

I agree with you there I really want a nasty TE that isnt afraid of the middle but also can block so that we are not giving away what we are about to do. I think we can find several of those guys in rd 3-4 if one TE hasnt fallen.

This draft is very deep with DL/ TE Sticking with our board and taking BPA is my idea of the way to go and Will has shown us that he has been pretty darn good at it. We IMO reached with Taco and the word is still out on him we shall see after next year. Going BPA we should be able to snag either DL,TE,S,CB or even a WR. I know according to Stephen we wont be big spenders in FA but i would welcome the addition of a true D1T that can clog up double teams and stop our LB's from being abused. Safety man that position has seemed to haunted us since Roy W had his good years IMO we have to upgrade in that position also.

Great post
I'm in board with BPA and agree that it will be DL or TE

Deebo Samuel is who they should target. If they need to move up some, they should do it.

Irv Smith for sure isnt happening
Yeah, people here are way too optimistic that Irv Smith will be available to us in the second round. No chance

McShay for example has Irv Smith as the #31 overall prospect and drafted in the late 1st/early 2nd
