Video: 2019 Andy Dalton Highlights

Boy, it's great to have such a high-quality backup QB. The Cowboys are very fortunate and they were wise to bring him in.

very true and with a mobile qb that does take risks running you never know when that big injury is going to happen....we’re lucky it didn’t happen prior

i believe he didnt have AJ Green most of the year and a lot of those guys he was throwing to were not super stars.. I like the timing he makes decision quick and let it fly..

Not superstars but Tyler Boyd is a very good player. He actually may be the best receiver on their team even better than AJ Green. He's just not a "big name" yet.

If you just look at a highlights video you can make anyone look like an all star. If you just look at a picks video he's the worst QB ever.

Neither tell the story on their own. They fit a narrative on their own.

True.

He had Boyd for most of the year but his other two starting WRs were out,
as was his TE.
Plus his line was one of the worst in the league and
his main RB kept getting hurt.

Pretty much a disaster in Cincy.....but it did allow them to get Burrow.

still aj was ADs #1 target and he was gone..your statement doesnt make it not true, he was still having success without his primary guy..

Let's tell BOTH sides of the story.

Some of you boys seem like you're working really hard to convince yourselves of something.

I saw about 6 horrible throws and 6 throws were his Wideouts were just trash. 3 of them were jump balls (ala Michael Gallup) throws that he made in NY where his wideouts just had no ability to make a play. Dalton isn't some legend QB. Nobody thinks that and if they do then they have a reality check coming, but he is gonna be a great fill in for Dak this season. I'm excited to see what someone other then Dak does with this offense. I am not a huge Dak nut hugger and I firmly believe he is around the 15-10 best QB in this league and should be paid as such. However, I think Dalton could really make me eat my words about Dak as well. I'm excited to either eat my humble pie or hand out my told ya so cake. One of the 2 should happen this season and I'm okay with either one of those outcomes.

Green hasnt been elite since 2016. Boyd has been his primary target for most of the last two years. Green was productive in 2018 but he only played 9 games

stop the arguing it was Daltons AC, ac disappears all the time and hurt and last year when that happened Dak didnt look good..its valid point..he lost his primary weapon..

Im just saying Boyd has been Daltons primary target for a year and a half now

As much as I'd like Dalton to be great for us, you can't define a player by his highlight reel (nor his bloopers reel).

Also, I've watched some full Bengals games over the years and I can tell you that the offenses he was on were pretty bad. That's not to say he is a star-QB-in-hiding, only that he might prove better on a team with some weapons.

I agree, highlights will only show you the best but one thing that stood out is the overall lack of talent around Dalton. None of these WR measure up to what is waiting for Dalton here in Dallas. Dalton is not going to single handedly carry this team but he has guys with true playmaking ability, get them the ball.
