we should have 9 picks - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 4th compensatory, 5th, 6th, 6th compensatory, 7th

1. FS
2. G - Williams may be long term OT and fleming is on 1-year contract
3. LB - Lee retirement looming. jaylon could be new wlb, but then a slb would be needed. or jaylon can stay at slb to blitz but then wlb needed.
4. 1Tech - Marinelli will be finally gone?
5. WR - TWill will be gone

The WR position has just begun to be transformed.

Keep an eye on David Sills (W.Virginia) next season...he led the nation with 18 scores this past season. He could be the next big target Dallas likes.

a highlight video but it does give you a sense on how the kid plays.

A lot will change before next April.

Here are our current players scheduled to become free agents. Some will re-sign beforehand, some may get chopped , the Franchise tag looms for one priority target (if needed).

RG Zack Martin (27/28 Nov) - Expected to ink long term, guaranteed Franchise tag if not.
RDE DeMarcus Lawrence (26) - Extension is possible, has back issue, Franchise tag if not needed on Martin and no drop in performance.
UT David Irving (24/25 Aug) - Chance to cash in if all goes well, unsure who will be writing the check.
WR Cole Beasley (29) - Important player whose numbers need to improve, traded away his replacement yesterday.
WR Deonte Thompson (29) - Signed to be field stretcher, age will work against re-signing him.
LS L.P. Ladouceur (37) - As good as there is, oldest player on roster, plan on snapping into his 40s.
RB/WR Tavon Austin (28) - Acquired to add some 'juice' on offense and return game.
FB Jamize Olawale (29) - Projected bit player on offense needs to ball on special teams.
LB Damien Wilson (24/25 May) - Has had some positive moments but long shot to re-sign here.
TE Geoff Swaim (24/25 Sept) - Team reportedly likes him, big chance to earn snaps if Jason Witten retires.
OT Cameron Fleming (25/26 Sept) - Likely swing tackle, hopes to earn RT job, likely to leave if doesn't
G/C Marcus Martin (24/25 Nov) - Hoping to unseat incumbent Joe Looney as game day interior reserve, may get released if doesn't.
DE Kony Ealy (26/27 Dec) - Team has been eyeing player for years, could be nice rotation piece, will have to earn spot.
DE Datone Jones (27/28 July) - Possible depth player with desired position flex, needs to step it up to make the cut this year.
OT Chaz Green (26) - Fan fave has talent, future with team this season is unclear, absolute lock to be elsewhere next year.
DT Richard Ash (25/26 Aug) - Unlikely to make roster this season unless injuries help his cause.
RB Rod Smith (26) - Will be Restricted free agent, chance to make impression as Zeke's back-up.

Contract concern
DE Tyrone Crawford (28/29 Nov) - Set to make $6M, $7M and $8M next three seasons, probably safe right now, could be asked to take less next year or be let go.

Age issue
LB Sean Lee (31/32 July) - Great player is only defender on roster over age 30 and has injury concerns.

2019 projected needs
DL - Need could be reduced if Tank and Dino both return, will be looking for help regardless.
S - Maybe things get sorted out this year, maybe they don't.
WR - Lots of changes this year, could be more next year.
OL - Addressing depth will again be an issue.
TE - Will the youngsters step up?

Lets wait till at least after week 12 to start this thread lol. As of right now its the same needs we had before the draft because we have no idea if the players we took are bums or long time starters but to play along i would say FS will be the biggest need because we didn't address it at all other then a UDFA. All of the other needs was address in FA, draft picks, and trades.

Head coach
Offensive Co-ordinator

At the moment:
DT - Biggest Need
TE - 2nd biggest need
FS - 3rd biggest need
DE (Depending on Lawrence)
LB - Depth unless Lee retires
WR - Need to see more to judge

Of course this time last year WR was sorted and so was OT.

The Cowboys will sign Earl Thomas in 2019.

Where are La'el and Tyron if Connor Williams is an OT?

la'el is right tackle
tyron is out at least 25% of the time.

williams is starting guard until drafted guard can start.
he would serve as swing tackle or starting tackle if he beats out either of tyron or collins
