Outside of Dinucci, pretty solid draft. This draft the team needs to tap T, G, Edge rusher, LB and CB. Rd1-3 has to be plug and play starters. Oh and DT & safety. Good grief, I think we need every position.

LOL for a second I thought you were going to ignore arguably our two biggest needs - DT and S. Haha.

I think DT, CB, and S are the most important. It’s very unlikely for any OG or OT to become a starter for years. We have a lot of guys who can play G now, and while Knight and Steele may never be worthy starters, they gained a lot of valuable experience that may allow them to be career backups. I would look for a developmental OT with the skill set to eventually be a starter, but that is not a priority this draft...just a position to keep an eye on.

We need a couple of corners, at least 1 safety, at least 1 DT, at least 1 LB.

If we are going to draft around 17...... might as well draft at 32. I’m just sayin.

You must be another one that wanted the Cowboys to tank and think drafting outside the top 5 is a automatic failure. Since the Cowboys won't have a top 5 pick why don't you save yourself a lot of frustration and just not watch the draft. The Cowboys drafted 17th last year and had a really pretty good draft.

Picking at #17 the Cowboys did and pretty damn good job.

DRAFT TRACKER
Round 1 • Pick 17 (17) • WR CeeDee Lamb
Round 2 • Pick 19 (51) • CB Trevon Diggs
Round 3 • Pick 18 (82) • DT Neville Gallimore
Round 4 • Pick 17 (123) • CB Reggie Robinson II
Round 4 • Pick 40 (146) • C Tyler Biadasz
Round 5 • Pick 34 (179) • DE Bradlee Anae
Round 7 • Pick 17 (231) • QB Ben DiNucci
Unless Biadasz gets derailed by injuries, its like a 4 starter draft. Which is excellent.

A 3 starter draft is good

Not when they play as good as most of this class has.
Outside of Lamb and flashes from.Diggs the class has been marred by injury, not getting on the field because of development issues and youth exasperated by the pandemic.

Dunucci is straight trash. The love for Anae and Reggie is wishful thinking.

Gallimore has been solid. They're going to need a year in otas and a real off season for me to get excited for it.

The first two are home runs. Guys that should Be here for two contracts.

Gallimore is starting to show flashes of potential.

Biadasz I see as the long term Centre , played ok when he was in there on a depleted line.

Really hoping to see more out of Robinson and Anae, hoping next year they come on strong.

I think DT is number one by a pretty wide margin. I'd put CB ahead of safety because veteran options are cheaper at the latter position. I'd put LB at four and edge at five. I truly think you get to six before you touch the offense.

Going into the last week of the season, I think the Cowboys' technical range of outcomes spans from 7 to 32. I think it is the same for the Giants. I wonder if that's ever happened in the NFL? The Cowboys would have to have a number of bad teams win upsets to get to 7. But technically, I think it is possible. I'd rather see them pick at 32.

Appears all will be on the roster week 1 2021 - except DeNuccI..
Methinks a late round pick or UDFA at the QB position will beat him out for the practice squad slot.
