Dallas free agency model here isn't unknown and certainly not shocking.
They are filling the team with lower tier free agents and lower tier trade guys
They will say this allows them to draft BPA. But really it is just about filling out the bottom of the roster.

And it is annoying; but it also has a pretty good track record... in the regular season.
3 straight 12-win years.

Not going to excite anyone buy at least it isn't last year's non-existent plan of just waiting on CeeDee and Dak while doing absolutely nothing.

Agree........

This is good.... BTW, he's the first outsider free agent they signed for over $6M since Greg Hardy

Word is they offer Kupp more than the Rams........I wonder what the plan B is there (offer to another FA WR or high draft pick )

I remember bringing in Kearse and Kazee at safety’s as well. Everyone then were saying these guys can’t play etc. Keanu Neal ring a bell?

This team needed a shakeup. While most of these players are low level, hopefully they will compete and make everyone better. We’re going to need some programs to figure out who the hell everyone is come PS!

Actually, I think it's more about Jerry just wanting to remain 'relevant and interesting'. Jerry isn't concerned with winning championships but he does have a couple major priorities - if the team is good enough to win a few games the team stays in the news and the money keeps flowing in. For some odd reason those 2 things mean more to Jerry than anything else.

Yup. Some of these guys will fit the scheme really well and elevte. Others will not even make the final roster.
A lot of this years' result will fall on the draft class.

It is the exact same plan as last year, we just signed the same type of talent in the beginning of FA this year.

There are far more names than that that worked out and it became starters you know adding Hooker to that. And I bet people forget low key moves like bringing over Aubrey Butler and Turpin from the UFL, and those are working out right now pretty well these are all offseason moves that you have to put together as one big offseason which is still five months from being completed with the draft ahead... Players like Gilmore, Peters, Kendricks, UDFA in Hoffman, and Brandin cooks ;were all good moves, along with the first time.. They brought Fowler over here, mad he left, now people are all weird about them bringing Fowler back. Bipolar fans. I bet people forgot about Ro Mcclain, and David Irvin and they were good for one year, but it's sometimes it's worth the risk ,trying to see if you can revamp these guys careers because some of them do workout... Maye this year is Turners turn to be Fowler. and i can see Sanborn doing well at LB and Muray really better depth than last year same with the RB room, IMO is better depth with the draft to find the future starter coming.

these are things all teams do there's going to be a lot of camp bodies and players that are not on anyone's radar, and a couple of them are going to rise to the top and make the team!

that's what it's all about, there's thirty players are going to get cut from every roster that's almost 1000 players, that means every team has those same players on it!

I actually don't mind. It was around that time frame that they shifted to the ultraconservative model we had last season.

I see it as a rollback because up until a couple years ago they were on the up. Then they changed and went in the toilet.

I get people want to blow it up but that is just not reality.

Who are all these free agents they signed last year?
Kendricks, yes.
Royce Freeman mid-April.
To this point that account has been given 3 different breakdowns into how this offseason is different. I have seen a 12 year old pick it up first try.

He still keeps with that line and pretends that never happened.

Why bother?

Yeah 2021 is when we got Hooker and finally had a decent FS after two decades of garbage. We brought in some good players those years.

I agree, it's not realistic to blow it up during the off-season but if they have a losing record close to the trade deadline during the season, I would make every non-rookie-contract player along with any rookie contract players not expected to return next season available for 2026 draft picks.

True, it's called having a plan Ace, but the problem is you don't win Super Bowls w/o elite defense, offense, QB and/or coaching. You need at least three to hide the flaws of one. For example, the Chiefs have won with Mahomes, Reid and their D. Mahomes and Reid have consistently covered their lack of offensive talent.

Most years, we are lucky to have any of the four mentioned and even then Jerry usually screws it up after a couple of years.

LOL......great but man, this takes a plan, vision, and HARD WORK ( see Jimmy Johnson ). I have little doubt we could trade a couple of our star players, rebuild, and contend for a serious post-season run within 2-3 years.

just got to have buyers with cap space to take on those deals but sure.
every team out of it by the deadline should be sellers.

Jerry? Anyone that can get under your skin enough to use that ridiculous avatar is good, by me! Every time I see a clown, I think of you!!! LO F'ing L!!

It is a nonsensical plan

21-23 had a SB winning HC and a DC who had been to a SB in 2/3 years

Now we have a first time HC that no one wanted and a middiling DC with a history of predictable passive defense that relies heavily on talent

majority of those players and coaches that did that are gone.
And in my opinion I see an upgrade it might be a wasp between Mike McCarthy and BS, maybe MM has a light edge but I think the rest of the staff is an upgrade only time will tell but I like a whole lot of those coordinators but their assistants like the wide receiver coach the offensive defensive line coaches they just seem better more energy...

So we gonna say that about the eagles too, they lost Moore, BEST OC on the planet, they are the best offense in the Super bowl, the best offense in the league they lost a lot of players so far, and they lost Moore, they're doomed, I guess they're all going to win seven games.. lol
