Anyone see if the NFL are staying with the 2020 roster rules.
16 on the PS, allowing up to 6 vet players. Same for active game day roster, didn't they add a few players to move up and down from the PS.

Same for the 3 week rule for IR, or is it going back to 6 weeks min.
I think they were expanding the PS player to 12 anyway.

To my count Dallas has 71 players under contract, including 12 of them on Futures / Reserve contracts.
They have 10 FA's left. Signed 6 FA's, lost 5 FA's. But not sure where that stands on who qualifies or not for comp picks. Right now, I say we will get none.

That leaves 19 open spots, 10 will go to draft picks, barring any trades. That leaves 9 spots for UDFA's to sign. However, there will be some players released, so they can still make some FA signings, such as Hooker, Kazee, bring back Looney, possibly a few more, like KJ Wright, Sherman?

Players like Rush could be released, as well a few OL, DB's, LB's, DL from the R/F contracts.

Dallas has 67 players under contract. They cut tight end Cole Hikutini, center Marcus Henry, and receivers Jon'vea Johnson and Chris Lacy the other day.

As far as the roster rules, we won't know that until closer to training camp. If the NFL operates under less strict COVID protocols as expected, I would assume the old roster rules go back into effect.

I already removed those Players. I will need to check to see who I have on it that is not there. I think one is Chris Westry, as I thought he was a R/F contract, but think he may not be. Speaks on the DL as well.

maybe at the end of the month at the league meetings they will announce about the rosters but more like at the summer meetings.

Expanding rosters makes no difference because there aren't any humans good enough to make a difference in those spots.

I am going to have to beg to differ. Some teams would have very good rosters. Others not so much.
