Some Shakespearean stuff here:

But Sunday, Jerry's boss now when I ball out;
I'm a dog when Dak get the ball out;
Pull the sauce out;
Pour the sauce on em that's too much;
Good wife that's too clutch
Without a backbone you can't do much
Making moves like food trucks...
OMG….:lmao2:

5 days to Tampa Bay!

I've attended one Monday Night Football game in Jerryworld, hard to believe it was 10 years ago. The Cowboys failed to score a TD, but the defense held Rex Grossman and the Commanders to 16 points and Dan Bailey was 6-for-6 on field goals. The last one came in the final minutes after Romo hit Dez for 30 yards on 3rd and 21 to get the Cowboys in range for "Money" to do his thing.

Another oddity of my pilgrimages to Texas (1300 miles, one way) was I witnessed the only win Clint Stoerner had in his NFL career (suffice to say I didn't envision him starting when I booked the trip). He only started twice, and his lone win was 17-3 over the Cardinals in Texas Stadium.

Classic example of how QB won/loss records are kind of useless, as Stoerner completed 9 passes for 93 yards on the day. The game was tied 3-3 at halftime before a Stoerner run and a pick six by Dexter Coakley sealed the win.

4 more days!!! Former players who wore #4 are Mike Saxon and Shaun Suisham. Current player wearing #4 is "Patrick Mahomes". LMAO!! Just kidding!! If you watched Hard Knocks, there was an episode where Trevon Diggs asks his young son, who they were going to see that weekend. Diggs says to his kid, you have his #4 jersey, and the kid replies "Patrick Mahomes", like 3 times...till finally he says Dak Prescott!! Dang kids!! :laugh:

I just saw that!! Hopefully Diggs can make the #7 proud!! :p
If he steps up, and Parsons performs as many fans are anticipating...
the Cowboys defense will have a "7-11" combination that wrecks havoc on opposing offenses in '21...and seasons to come!

4 days to Tampa Bay!

Prescott beginning his 6th season under center...entering his prime (turned 28 about 6 weeks ago). On Sept. 9th will be just 1 of 17 regular season games...but it seems bigger because of the "numbers" surrounding it:
Cowboys #4 last played 11 months ago...2 surgeries...4 years, 160 million...575 GPS measurement...0 plays in preseason games...1st game of 2021 NFL season vs. SB LV Champions with Dak's counterpart no. 12, who became 44 y.o. 5 weeks ago, beginning his 22nd season.
