Three year rule definitely applies to all these guys but going into this years draft I wanted to look back and see how last years first round did stat wise.

Had Smith been off the board, I think Lloyd would have been the pick. Had a very nice rookie campaign.
 
Karlaftis was my guy last year. #20 on the consensus big boards at a money position of need.

He’s off to a heck of a start to his career.
 
First thing I notice.

First round OL started a hell of a lot of games across the board

Very productive 1st round. Kinda wonder how it stacks up with other years

Van Ness reminds me of him. I wonder were he goes in the draft. Anywhere from 10 to 30.
 
Is it just my lack of knowledge this year or was there a hell of a lot more talent in last years draft….as well as the previous few?

I think Van Ness is a bit bigger / longer stronger but Karlaftis was a much more polished pass rusher IMO.

I’d have Karlaftis over Van Ness by a little bit.
 
Not a lot of guys with an athletic profile like LVN. His best football is ahead of him. He hasn’t even scratched the surface for how good he could be. That’s why I expect he’ll be a top 15-20 pick.
