Maybe he just wanted to see how many different ways people could interpret stats.
Witten was never washed up in his time at Dallas. He just made people so spoiled that they thought a good TE is a dime a dozen. So washed up witten is as good as Schultz?
Shultz does not suck he is just tied to the whipping postGot it backwards.
'So Schultz (2022 franchised tagged @ $10.9 mil) is as good as washed up Witten?'
Could have had one when the Lions were giving away T.J. Hockenson at the deadline.I still want an elite pro bowl level TE on this team.
I wanted him in the draft but unfortunately he didn't make it to us.Could have had one when the Lions were giving away T.J. Hockenson at the deadline.
I hope someone gave K. Moore the memo.I think TE will play a big part in this game, I would expect to see Cowboys getting all 3 TE involved in the game with a lot of 2 TE sets to run and pass out of
Cowboys have done that quite a bit through out the season. I think it is way to get the run game going and with Shultzs, Ferguson and Hendershot you have guys who make plays in the passing gameI hope someone gave K. Moore the memo.
I think we will get that a bunch on monday.I want Dak using Hendershot and Fergie some. Use some 12 personnel.
I like Shultz but he is a FA, Dallas has Jake Furguson and Hendershot who have looked good at times. I think this team is in decent shape at TE as Furguson and Hendershot continue to grow and develop.Step outside the bubble of hate that is this forum, and you'll find that Schultz is very highly regarded. He's a really good player. Not spectacular or game-changing. Not elite. But he is smart, runs good routes, catches well, and is consistent. He's a dependable, proven TE. Cut him if you want to save some money, but now there is an empty spot to fill, with no guarantee production will be equal. Yes, it would be nice to have an elite TE, but this team certainly has a lot of other more pressing needs.
There have been a lot of really good to great TEs in Cowboys history, and Old Man Witten is at the top of the list.Kind of puts it in perspective how good Witten was. Easily the best TE in franchise history.
To confuse you with simple numbers and remind you of your failures in high school algebra...What’s the point of this thread? Just an excuse to throw some numbers around?
