you would LOSE

Jerry does NOT interfere with plays, play calls ,or who plays what amount of snaps that's nonsense. Not one ex player or coach made this claim. Fans want to believe that because they THINK pollards better and technically hes not zeke is RB1 hard nose runner and Blocker gets the dirty yards helps set up and also been the decoy in 2 back sets featuring both which helped create bigger pays for pollard. if Pollard was rb1 with 200 plus carries he wouldn't last and would be exposed because he can't be the every down back and maintain that average etc.

im on board with close to equal snaps but more snaps are needed period!

the Rbs have NOT been the issue IMHO

the OL has and these incessive Posts disregarding how bad the OL played in the run game, penalties, and the OC not calling enough run pays are barking up the wrong tree.

the fix isnt who starts its whos calling pays and whos blocking., period facts not a bunch of overly emotional keyboard know it Alls. The coaches had a plan and its not working. easier to change coaches and shuffle the ol and see.

no one was complaining when Zeke was 100% the first 8 games and had 5.1 YPC. if Zeke was FED like has been in the past he would have had 1400 yards this year when he was healthy and hot

they didn't feed him they split the carries and that and the injury is what slowed him down. if preinjury they fed him he would have easily put up his normal yards.

yes new rbs in 2 seasons sure but pollard is NOT A FT STARTER

moving on.

One, I think Dak and Beasley have hinted in the past that Jerry meddles in things like that. Granted, not sure how much trust you can put in those two.

Two, there is an issue with the RBs. Specifically one RB. Elliott is paid and supposed to be an elite RB. He's not. He's an 18 million cap hit next year which is an abomination for a guy at his level now. It hurts the overall roster to have that much cap space tied up into a TB. He has the largest cap by far, over $3 million more than Derek Henry. That's just crazy.

Pollard's future is tied into what his market value will be. I have zero issues bringing a TB like him back on a decent contract. One, he'll still likely have a lot of tread on his tires still as he won't have the volume of carries that makes TBs fall off. Two, he's a weapon both in the passing game and running game. So he has clear value. The question is the cost. If some team gets dumb and heaps a big deal on him, then yep, you say bye bye. But if you can get him on a fair deal, say three years, not a ton of money, he'd be a smart resigning.
