2023 DE/Edge Prospect "Splash" Play Leaders

Having watched Foskey, he's toolsy and splashy but there were times you kind of saw him just disappear. I would not use a first round pick on him but if he somehow fell to us in the 2nd, I'd have no problem grabbing him there.

Agreed. I wanted to like Foskey, but after watching him I just don’t see a guy that’s a top 50 prospect. Where we pick in the 2nd? Yes a lot more palatable.

The guy on this list I really do like that isn’t talked about much is Felix Anudike-Uzomah. Again, not at 26 because I’m not sure he’s going to be a yearly 12+ sack artist, but I can see being a really solid player that gets around 10 sacks while being solid against the run

Sort of like a better Golston (who was really coming on at the end of last season). I think it took Golston a bit to adjust to what Quinn wanted out of him… but it looks like he has about figured things out.

Tui is more twitchy than Golston but Quinn would still probably use him some inside and out.

I like him, but I want to see what he does at the combine.

I'll take my lumps on this one. When people linked him to Dallas, I was not a fan. I worried that he was one of those kids that was just tapped out in college.

I was way wrong on him. He looks like a real nice player.

He was a watered down version of Joey Bosa. Not overly explosive but good bend and just knows how to win. Dudes a technician.

I like the talent of Felix and Foskey. I think both guys have a shot at going late in round 1 and almost certainly won’t last long in round 2.

I’m firmly on the record for saying I’m not opposed to taking an edge at 26 at all. If it’s BPA it’s a money position I’m all in.

If Nolan Smith is available when we pick I’m likely taking him over anyone we’re talking about regardless of position (even though he’s not high in this example).
