yep, lots of sarcasm. But that is what we do. Jerry likes his guys and will overpay to keep them. That leaves no money to go out in free agency and actually improve the team. The objective of our offseasons is basically to bring as many guys back from the previous season and sprinkle in a few rookies while losing anyone unfriendly to management.
