2023 salary cap set at 224.8 million

This is good news for Dallas who should be well under league average heading into next year.

Right now is the time to start acquiring youngish, proven talent for the future and moving on from guys like Zeke and Dak.

I am not an expert on cap, but if we had $6.3 million in cap space before this, we should add an additional $16.6 million in space. If it jumped from $208.2 million to $224.8 million putting us around $22.9 million in cap.

Now I know every site is different and I’m sure we are negative something lol

What this really means is that the price of tickets, concessions, parking and cable/streaming services will continue to skyrocket to finance this madness.

We are 7.5 mill over

No choice. We gotta re-sign our guys. Diggs will be more than happy to sit out until he gets his extension.
Diggs needs to take a year off to work on his "FETUS" style tackling. It's not playing well in the NFL......................

I just hope the team is not entering another big dead money phase. There was a 3 year stretch during the Garrett era when the Cowboys were among the worst in the league year after year.
He was trying to bring in the right kind of guys to be like the Rams.

They are but I hope they throw stupid money at Barkley and Jones. We shouldn't be the only team saddled with overpriced RB and QB. Barkley and Jones definitely have more upside than Zeke and Dak!
I agree that at this point there is more upside to that duo....that being said.....the best version of Barkley/Jones will not be better than the best version of Dak/Zeke

Sweet, maybe we restructure dak and give him more money with a double no-trade clause.
