We need an elite route runner, there were so many interceptions last year where Dak and the receiver weren’t on the same page. Those option routes played a role, but poor route running was the bigger issue.

I actually like the idea of signing / trading for the #2 and adding a slot stud in the draft.

To be honest, the only shot we have is if is he runs in the 4.5’s. If he runs in the 4.4’s he ain’t making it to us.

Re-watched JSN this morning, he isn't a receiver for everyone, especially if you want a vertical threat. He is more of a go to guy over the middle that can move the sticks, find holes in zone coverage and become a QB's most reliable target. Yes, he is more of a slot receiver, but a real good one. It really depends on what type of receiver they want to draft.
